I've been the low man on Harper all along, and I would say maybe 20% for Sox (which is up from the 0.0% a month ago). I do think the Yankees are out now and it's a 4 team race.

Yep, I'm aware. He's at the meetings also.

Reminds me of the day when I heard a similar story that they were shipping in Soriano White Sox jerseys. Sox ended up only trading for MacDougal that day.

Another source saying Andujar is available https://mobile.twitter.com/martinonyc/status/1072533750490300421

Yep, if Andujar is really available now, it should make it easy for them to work a deal out for a pitcher (Kluber, Bauer).

Should be interesting, but Ricky is meeting with the media today. Our Chuck already said he’s going to ask him his thoughts on Manny’s hustle comments.

Not true, I never get too excited

But what’s the rush for Harper to sign this particular contract without giving a few other teams a chance to top it days/weeks/months later

Wouldn’t recommend it if you’ve had something to eat in last hour

If they’re unloading outfielders, Chris Taylor would be a nice fit with the Sox

Especially since they were treating Andujar as an untouchable and now they’ve let teams know he’s available.

Mets fans are melting down right now on twitter about the idea of Thor going to the Yankees.

And if Andujar is in the deal, that really stings

Wouldn’t shock me at all if they go after Thor. I would hate to see Yanks involved giving up Andujar to get Thor.

I always remember Baines hitting a walkoff against Wetteland. That was around the time Hawk would say “give ‘me a thrill Harold”

Is he going to learn cricket?

So Mets might be in on Ramos, while Dodgers are Realmuto or bust. The quietness surrounding Grandal is interesting.

Buster said Yankees are absolutely going after Machado and that only way they don’t get him is if someone offers him 350-400 million.

Because maybe they want to trade Stanton this offseason?

For example, why did the Yankees bring back Gardner if they really were worried about their outfield logjam and money issues?

Yeah too much is made of these big market teams saying they’re out on players. Lots of trades to be made to possibly open up positions and/or payroll.

Or Didi to 1b depending on his recovery

Well if Yanks are serious about Manny, that’s going to be difficult to overcome for the WSox
