Only the Sox could employ a god awful pitch framer when they're trying to rebuild with 4 "young" pitchers. Whenever Hahn wants to start putting any emphasis on defense, that would be nice.
-
that was pathetic by Rodon and Omar and Joe West

how in the hell does Joe West miss that? Omar has got to frame that better also, but what else is new.

It will be interesting to see what's the real story is with Robert. He clearly wasn't on the bench tonight based off what KLaw said. Would be odd to be in the clubhouse and then not come out to sit on the bench. Knowing how this season has gone for the prospects, he probably got diagnosed with the plague.

and him homering in front of one of his biggest supporters does nothing but help his stock
-
slider getting some awkward swings!
-
Omar tried his best to get it called a ball
-
early on offspeed pitches, late on the fastball
-
yep, guess his Instagram had some video in the clubhouse
-
oh boy, hope everything is ok with Robert
-
good at bat! he fouled off a borderline 2-2 inside pitch that he's been taking for called 3rd this year
-
Kind of happy he wasn't going 100%, as that could have been painful for him at home with how much the catcher was blocking the plate.
-
Not sure he was going full speed, but the thing is, that was just a ridiculous play by Andrus. Bat also was in Yoan's way.
-
He was clearly blocking the plate
-
Monster game for Adolfo, Sheets stays on fire
-
Hopefully he knows the scouting report that Colon will try and get the called 3rd with his 2 seamer running back over the plate. It's a good pitch for Yoan to hit, but also the type he gives up on.
-
Did you see what I mean about how he loses his mechanics when he tries to purposely elevate? Gets under it just a bit.
-
He really settled down, got a lot of outs vs former major leaguers. Slider command was really good last two innings.
-
-
See my earlier post, reason to believe this is their new strategy as Rutherford and Adolfo also missed consecutive games this week and then played
-
Anything suggesting he's hurt?
-
Leury and Cedeno to Milwaukee could make sense given their injuries
-
Assuming he's healthy, Robert isn't playing again. Seems like Omar has been playing guys 3-4 games then benching them 2. Rutherford and Adolfo missed back-to-back games also this week. If this is true, just another ridiculous move by the org.
