QUOTE (Scoots @ Aug 20, 2017 -> 03:23 AM) 25th error on the season. That's bad. Like, ungodly awful. Pretty sure his range is considered awful also

This is embarrassing.

Collins hurt now? Merkin reporting Rutherford has back discomfort

There are maybe 4 competent pitchers on this roster. Quite impressive

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Aug 20, 2017 -> 01:36 AM) Last 14 starts 62 innings 67 earned runs. You said all along it was a horrible fit and that he would get destroyed once it got hot out.

The scout that thought he would be a good fit for the Sox must have been same one who recommended Shields

Holland shouldn't be starting anymore. One of the worst starters I've seen for the Sox. He needs to retire

QUOTE (SoxAce @ Aug 19, 2017 -> 10:27 PM) I just don't see Hahn bringing in a left handed hitter to platoon with another left handed hitter no matter how infatuated KW is with the hometown (and fathom's) boy. Can't hurt to get more veteran leadership to go with Abreu.

My prediction is Delmonico splits LF/DH with Granderson

God I love his swing

Such a great swing by Delmonico

QUOTE (reiks12 @ Aug 19, 2017 -> 02:38 AM) Where are Rutherford and Robert? They haven't played in a while Both are hurt

QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Aug 19, 2017 -> 02:19 AM) TA is not nearly as fast as advertised. He's very fast, but he doesn't get out of the box quickly at all. Especially on that play, as he was jammed

Hope this gets him going, but Burger's slugging has disappeared. 55 at bats without an extra base hit

Strange there's been a lot of offense but not by the big names. Liriano showing a lot of power of late.

QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Aug 19, 2017 -> 12:57 AM) Yeah he went on contact with 2 outs, I don't have a problem with what he did there. Ball was in front of him. Needs to know where the fielders are and that Leury is going to beat that out. This team's base running continues to get worse.

QUOTE (TheTruth05 @ Aug 19, 2017 -> 01:37 AM) Timmy Bases stays hot And continues to show no baseball iq

RR bunting in the 2nd of course. Was there a high school softball game on today that both managers watched?

On the BA podcast about the draft, they said Singer is heavy favorite to go 1-1.

Haha at Texas bunting with Shields on the mound

QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Aug 19, 2017 -> 01:19 AM) Why is Yolmer batting 6th? It's been said but Ricky's lineups are just bonkers. You don't like his multiple grounders to 2nd every night?

QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Aug 18, 2017 -> 05:14 PM) Yep, seems like picks 1 and 2 are set. The Phillies seem to be insurmountable in their suckitude. Will be interesting to see if Singer is taken #1 if the Sox will take the risk with a HS kid, or take the best available college player to fit better with the "timeline". Fwiw I don't think KLaw had Singer as one of his possible first picks...same with Kelenic

No similarities to Gavin Floyd at all, wow

QUOTE (bmags @ Aug 15, 2017 -> 02:38 AM) I don't know why I still watch but man Hard Knocks is brutal this year Haven't done a good job of making you care about any of the rookies as they try to make the roster. McCoy is easily best part of the show.

No way Yoan would struggle batting lefty vs LHP as much as he does batting righty. He's not even close
