Amazing how much Davidson's average has plummeted. Love how dangerous he can be, but has a bad knack of swinging and missing on average pitches

QUOTE (elrockinMT @ May 14, 2017 -> 02:40 AM) We get runners on 2nd and 3rd with one out. All we need is a nice fly ball. Melky pops up. Trade him! Melky's swing from right side is so ugly. He's having a dreadful season.

QUOTE (SoxAce @ May 14, 2017 -> 12:06 AM) I still find it hilarious people wanted him to start full time here (and for a while) Dude is a utility player through and through. He's playing himself out of the organization if this continues

QUOTE (elrockinMT @ May 14, 2017 -> 12:25 AM) As Stone Pony said you can't fault Avi because he couldn't be sure that ball wasn't going to be caught With one out, you go half way

Promising start for Giolito tonight

Saladino looks broken at the plate

QUOTE (Soxfest @ May 13, 2017 -> 11:12 PM) Covey blows Yes he does. Make him eat 6 innings

QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ May 13, 2017 -> 01:28 PM) What would you have traded for him? Cubs gave up nothing special to get him. Someone like Lowry might have worked.

Yep barely survived last night with an 8th inning Trout homer

Thoughts on Rooker with 2nd round pick?

QUOTE (flavum @ May 13, 2017 -> 04:37 AM) Last 11 at 2-9. You can put it on the board. Cy Covey and his high sinker gonna turn it around!

QUOTE (reiks12 @ May 13, 2017 -> 04:10 AM) Frazier is so bad, what a depressing acquisition. Don't blame Hahn for going for him but man... So many established, veteran hitters just come here and "die"

Have a game Leury

QUOTE (SoxAce @ May 13, 2017 -> 02:26 AM) Yea he's the one whose really killed his overall value the past couple of years. I highly doubt the sox even get a Montas like prospect at this point (regardless of what Montas is doing now) for him. He's easily cost himself 75-90 million dollars since the 2015 ASB. No way should he still be on the Sox after the deadline.

QUOTE (reiks12 @ May 13, 2017 -> 03:13 AM) Melky has killed his trade value, great He was never going to get you a top 10 prospect though. Frazier has killed his value big time as well. If Frazier was Cuban, everyone would guess he's 40

QUOTE (Scoots @ May 13, 2017 -> 03:11 AM) Starting to watch less and less of these games, and when I actually do watch, the more I fantasize about a dominant rotation consisting of Quintana, Rodon, Lopez, Giolito/Kopech, and Fulmer, and a lineup consisting of the star Moncada, an Anderson who has figured things out, an April 2017 Avi, an August Abreu, a healthy speedy Charlie Tilson, a nice surprise in Basabe, a 40 homerun hitter in Davidson, an amazing defensive catcher in Collins, etc etc. The future is bright folks. Remain patient. Patience is key. How dare you forget Beer, Machado and Robert

Great update....wonder when exactly before/after trade Diaz got hurt

Gonzalez has nothing on these pitches. Renteria with the long leash.

Wish the Sox were more aggressive going after Butler. Much better chance of figuring things out than Covey

QUOTE (SoxAce @ May 13, 2017 -> 01:25 AM) Abreu.. It's just becoming laughable at this point. It was laughable last year. Now it's just pathetic.

QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ May 13, 2017 -> 01:26 AM) Jose in a full stretch gives himself an in between hop. How is this man a pro 1B? Seriously. It's just the glove, don't worry

Leury continues to be a pleasant surprise

Not sure why Fulmer 2nd run is earned

Gonzalez trying hard to hurt his trade value. Stuff looks awful

Moncada gets on base a lot
