How do we know the Sox weren't lying at Soxfest with regards to their plans, and they actually do have absolutely no money to spend to upgrades? I would love to be wrong, but I would have done the same thing if I was Hahn and dealt with the angry fan base coming into that weekend. If he simply said "we're done, no upgrades as we're at our budget", that would have created more animosity.

Bulls just blew an 18 point lead...Portis defense is about on par with Gasol. Hinrich played 13 minutes and contributed nothing. It would be cool to see Rose will them to victory.

Austin Jackson makes way more sense for the Cubs. Better defense and can still get the comp pick when Fowler goes elsewhere (while being way cheaper)
