QUOTE (Jake @ Aug 20, 2016 -> 03:45 AM) Our current prospect strategy would put Adams as our opening day starter next year And throwing 86 mph

QUOTE (flavum @ Aug 20, 2016 -> 02:39 AM) Still 25% of the season left. Robin can still go now as far as I'm concerned. I'm buying into theory they want to replace Robin with Renteria but don't want to do it now and see team play awful under him the rest of the way

Rock bottom for this season

I can't find it anymore but I love the tweet that Shields has a nickname of Big Game because hitters have a big game against him

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Aug 20, 2016 -> 02:59 AM) And the unforgettable Matt Davidson... And you honestly think they'll blame injuries, their own lack of any quality depth, the Shields debacle and extend Ventura at the end of the year with those three excuses? There's not a chance in hell Ventura is back

QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Aug 20, 2016 -> 02:50 AM) Outside of the recent draft class, this has been an absolutely horrible year for our farm system. The vast majority of our top prospects have underperformed and very few prospects have broken out. The entire organization is a disaster at the moment. Yep, that's what I was getting at with the draft class comment. Complete disaster of a development year for the system outside of Anderson and the draft class. The sooner Buddy Bell leaves, the better

This is some performance. Feel bad for the fans at the game.

Bolt is just awesome to watch

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Aug 20, 2016 -> 01:41 AM) Bring a mitt. They are coming out there pretty quickly. Shields should match up well vs Seattle, right

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Aug 20, 2016 -> 01:41 AM) Maybe. KW at least won once. You would think the law of averages would catch up to the Sox at some point. Something has to work out. But they do need to be all in if they are going for it. The hoping 3 or 4 bargains work out, nobody gets hurt, and everyone else has a big year hope needs to end, and something more realistic needs to take its placeThe injuries hurt them and I know some teams are missing better players but the Sox have no depth so their injuries result in guys who should hardly ever play getting a lot of play. Agreed, it's hard to be as bad with transactions the last two years as the Sox have been. Some of the moves that even made sense have completely blown up in their faces.

I have outfield seats for Shields next start vs Seattle. Should be interesting

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Aug 20, 2016 -> 01:32 AM) Who said that? But calling them the most inept is hyperbole.would you trade Hahn and kW for Stewart and LaRussa? They both are god awful

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Aug 20, 2016 -> 02:30 AM) If you were a DBacks fan I think you would say the same thing. Yep, good call. The two worst, after last year the Sox being considered the worst along with the Padres.

QUOTE (Wanne @ Aug 20, 2016 -> 02:27 AM) and they didn't get a bag of balls for Shields when he was pitching well before deadline why?!? Reason #167 this front office sucks ass.... It really might be the most inept front office in baseball right now. Nothing they have done during this season has made sense.

Worst effort of the season by the Sox. Abreu turning his head on that scoop like a 5th grader

9 HR in last 14 innings

QUOTE (DirtySox @ Aug 20, 2016 -> 01:20 AM) Ah Shields. I truly hope you get someone fired. Maybe he will retire

Omg does Shields suck. Two of the worst stretches of multiple starts I have ever seen.

Shields is simply horrible. Definitely should cost Hahn his job. Sadly I think Danks is better than Shields.

QUOTE (southside hitman @ Aug 19, 2016 -> 09:48 PM) http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?s...mp;ymd=20160819 Fulmer making his Charlotte. Spencer Adams pitching for Birmingham. Adams rocked also Good thing the new draft class is exciting

I wonder how Hahn will try to blame KW for acquiring Shields

Cubs benching Heyward for the entire weekend. Lucky for them Soler is a way better hitter.

QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Aug 19, 2016 -> 11:38 PM) It's been half a year. Calm down. Just want to know what happened to his stuff. Velocity is way down. I don't think he was ever going to have pinpoint command. Definitely a lost season for him.

QUOTE (southside hitman @ Aug 19, 2016 -> 09:51 PM) Fulmer's night is....not going well. Gonna need a minor miracle for him to become a big league starter. So close to getting Benintendi instead!

That was fast. Can't believe the likes of Turner and Beck struggled.
