There are 6 teams in the NL right now that aren't even pretending to be competing (Brewers, Reds, Rockies, Phillies, Marlins, Braves). In the AL, it's hard to suggest there are any teams that are trying to tank the rest of the way.

I think my biggest pet peeve in watching baseball these days is how often the broadcast doesn't show where the infielders/outfielders are lined up for every hitter. With so many shifts being deployed, they really should give the viewer an idea of where the holes are prior to the ball being put in play.

I keep seeing the names of Upton and Heyward, but Cespedes is a better option IMO. He wouldn't require losing a draft pick, and he's proven he can hit in the NL.

If the Rockies aren't getting Rodon, I see no reason for them to trade Arenado to the White Sox. There has also been absolutely no rumors they are looking to trade him, as he's going to be the face of the franchise.
