I was fine with them pulling him last game due to wanting to save his arm from too many pitches. But to keep him in today to throw so many extra pitches just for a shot at a record is insane.

According to fangraphs, Avi is now 156th out of 164 in terms of WAR. With Utley on the DL, Alexei is far and away the worst hitter in baseball.
