QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 20, 2015 -> 08:55 PM) Isn't Prince Fielder leading off? Do they have power other than this? Isn't it Prince, Moreland and Gallo? Doesn't get much more powerful

Not a lot of power for the Rangers coming up this inning.

QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 20, 2015 -> 08:05 PM) SOS Sox hype Johnson and Sanchez both guys will be lucky to be utility guys at best. Scouting experts were never very high on Sanchez.

6/20 vs Texas Rangers
Ha, Sanchez is so terrible. The worst hitter I've ever seen get this many at bats as a White Sox.

How did Conor miss that pitch?

I missed the leadoff hit towards Conor this inning. What happened?

QUOTE (Condor13 @ Jun 20, 2015 -> 08:23 PM) Sanchez needs to be demoted soon. Kid just can't hit ML pitching right now. He has had two separate stints in the bigs and has bombed in an epic way both times. He is real young. He needs to refine his batting at AAA before coming back up Unless he adds 30 pounds of muscle or is allowed to use old school aluminum bats, I don't see him ever being a productive hitter at this level.

6/20 vs Texas Rangers
AAA pitching must be simply awful for Sanchez to hit as well as he did there.
-
6/20 vs Texas Rangers
Overpowered by 91 mph fastballs was Sanchez. Again, what are they thinking keeping him in the lineup?

Holy cow, caught a gigantic break there

Rick Hahn is the last person you should blame
QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 20, 2015 -> 04:41 AM) At the time Sanchez was raking in AAA. It wasn't a bad move considering how bad Johnson was defensively. He was terrible. Which goes back to the inability of this organization to develop anyone on the offensive side.

Eaton's extension is scary right now, as it seems like he's already pissing off some people in the org. I actually like him and hope he turns it around.

Rick Hahn is the last person you should blame
QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jun 20, 2015 -> 03:25 AM) I'm not saying Rick Hahn is an amazing, top-five GM or anything. I'm just annoyed at all of the comments blaming him instead of the players/coaches. He did nothing to improve the defense coming into the season. They had to have known how much of a butcher Johnson was at 2nd

Awesome response by Sale

Rick Hahn is the last person you should blame
QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jun 20, 2015 -> 04:14 AM) I loved the Bonifacio signing. Ideally, he would have 125+ games under his belt by the end of the year because he'd be the primary backup 2B/SS/3B/LF/CF/RF. Instead, we screwed things up by signing Beckham and basically eliminating Bonifacio's role. Bonifacio has played all season like an alien came and stole all his ability. If they can't trade him soon, he will probably be DFA'd

Who cares what RV says right now. Actions speak louder than words. I think everyone no longer wants to hear it's early or things are pointing up.

Does Sale deserve better?
QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jun 20, 2015 -> 03:54 AM) Bryant, Russell, Edwards, Alcantara and Vogelbach. Russell, Schwarber, Torres and Underwood

Fire Steverson?
Just like with Ventura, it can't hurt to see if somehow they get lucky and someone else can help turn things around. Even seeing minimal improvement the rest of the way would be nice, as it's somehow getting worse by the week.

QUOTE (daggins @ Jun 20, 2015 -> 02:50 AM) Robertson has been quite good, but so has Papelbon the last few years, and he is still a Phillie. I think the return for Robertson would be slight. A couple B / 45 FV guys. Well, Amaro Jr. is crazy

QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 20, 2015 -> 03:47 AM) It won't be Bell, and it wouldn't matter anyway. Say they fire Ventura tonight... Are you actually looking at results the rest of the season? Of course not. Don't care about wins/losses, but looking to see if there's more of a spark and improvement in fundamentals. It's worth a shot, as nothing positive is happening with the team right now in general.

Robertson and cash to Toronto for Stroman and Pompey That's the type of trade I think the Sox should be looking at. Freeing up some salary while bringing in guys who are close to the majors.
