  1. QUOTE (Baron @ Jul 6, 2013 -> 12:02 AM) God damn he sucks Headed towards being in the bottom 5 in ERA, WHIP and BAA
  2. QUOTE (Jake @ Jul 6, 2013 -> 12:01 AM) Robin...y u no Castro Make Axelrod give you some innings
  3. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 6, 2013 -> 12:55 AM) Please question mine. A rookie 5th starter with an era around 5? Actually...not all that bad. He could end tonight with one of the 5 worst ERAs for qualified AL starters.
  4. QUOTE (Baron @ Jul 6, 2013 -> 12:54 AM) I question anybody's sanity if they look at Axelrod and see the future There have been some that suggested he would be a member of this rotation the next few years.
  5. QUOTE (Jake @ Jul 6, 2013 -> 12:54 AM) Hopefully E. Johnson is ready to debut sooner rather than later DL unfortunately
  6. Coming up to a 5 ERA. Hopefully he's not in the long term plans of this organization.

  8. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 5, 2013 -> 09:38 PM) He's still 24 so he's still early in his career, but his performance all around this year is very disappointing. Is he in Ventura's doghouse? Getting benched twice in a week is very un-Robin-like
  9. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 5, 2013 -> 09:31 PM) Just so it's said, last year he was nearly an average fielder in LF at age 23. He was -3.0 runs in UZR. But like everyone else on the team, his fielding has collapsed this year. He's already at -3.6 runs in UZR this year and his full season pace is -12 runs. He's been about a win worse in LF this year than last year. The guy from last year I can take out in LF. The guy from this year's squad, well he needs to start hitting sometime. With a little bit more experience, the guy from 2012 could have become an average fielder out there, but like everyone else on the team he's taken a huge step backwards. You know my thoughts on Viciedo...at this time, he's looking like a future platoon player. He needs a big 2nd half to cement his full-time starting spot going forward, in my opinion.
  10. Not that it matters, but I don't think Viciedo is a good fit at all for 1B. It takes away his throwing arm, which is one of his biggest tools.
  11. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 5, 2013 -> 08:27 PM) Gotta be it. Man, Dwight, Lee, Iggy, Curry, Thompson is f***ing filthy if it happens. RIP western conference. But missing their MVP last year in Jarrett Jack Kidding
  12. Based on the seasons they're having, McCann/Utley/Morales will almost definitely be trying to get multi-year deals. Utley seems like a lock for the Dodgers, in my opinion. Granderson's the only one that might take a 1-yr deal to try and raise his stock again.
  13. QUOTE (Jake @ Jul 5, 2013 -> 05:30 PM) Warriors will need sign and trade to get Howard Is there any way fathomable way that we can sneak in there and get Thompson sent our way? Sure, if we circumvent the system and give Trayce a huge extension and say he has to share it with his brother after Klay agrees to a below-market level extension here:)
  14. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 4, 2013 -> 03:19 AM) So evidently anyone with a trade value is going to get hurt so they can't be traded. Then they all come back after the trade deadline and get on just hot enough of a streak to win 80 or so games this year. That's what is known as baseball hell. However, good luck getting to 80 wins with this schedule in the 2nd half of the season.
  15. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 4, 2013 -> 03:04 AM) Apparently the DBacks haven't watched any Brewers games this year, because Gallardo has been bad. Right now, Skaggs is better than Gallardo
  16. Webb struggling again
  17. mlbtraderumors talking about Gallardo for Skaggs as a possible deal. If that's true, the Sox desperately need for Peavy to get healthy soon
  18. Jordan looked like his brother in that AB
  19. caulfield, any idea why Trayce left tonight's game?
  20. QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 4, 2013 -> 03:04 AM) Zach Stewart may return, which is perfect for the 2013 season. Says?
  21. I can't imagine Troncoso being on the roster much longer.
  22. Thornton with quite the hanger
  23. The big 3 of Hawkins, Thompson and Anderson have done very little so far this week
  24. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jul 4, 2013 -> 01:55 AM) Damn I thought Hawk was about to announce Phegley got called up. Such a tease. What happened?
  25. QUOTE (Jake @ Jul 4, 2013 -> 12:51 AM) If you put any prospect with Dunn or Alexei just to dump their salary, you're an idiot. They're both playing well enough that people will be willing to eat their entire contracts at this point, even if there is a slight price to pay in terms of baseball talent. Agreed, as I mention above, if he's used in a trade, it's just to sweeten the deal in return.
