  1. Nice job managing by Ventura tonight. Hudson looked shaky on that first play at 3rd, which is to be expected.
  2. After seeing the quality numbers that Jed Lowrie is putting up this year, it sure seems like the Astros got more value for Melancon than we did for Santos.
  3. Excellent outing by Stewart tonight
  4. For more entertainment, put on MLB Network. Chapman throwing 100mph
  5. QUOTE (stretchstretch @ May 23, 2012 -> 01:36 AM) man the more things change the more they stay the same, eh? back to 500, chance to continue momentum, new team, new manager, playing the worst team in baseball. And of course, because of the oppositions jersey, same crap different year. Twins record might be bad, but they've been playing pretty damn good as of late. Walters is better than the guys that had been starting for them.

Castro got crushed tonight. Mitchell really could use a few multi-hit games in a row.
  7. Sorry, I meant the game at Wrigley.
  8. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 23, 2012 -> 02:19 AM) Tonight's a night that makes me glad I no longer buy tickets to every home game. I'm not sure there weren't more Sox fans at the Cell on Sunday than there are at the game tonight. It really amazes me how much our attendance sucks this year.
  9. QUOTE (Jake @ May 23, 2012 -> 02:18 AM) 1. You have to throw to more than one spot. Hip high and outside is not the place. 2. Where the f*** is your curveball? It's horses*** that he is willing to lose with that piece of s*** cutter Couldn't agree more with your 2nd point. His curve is far and away his best pitch, but seems like he doesn't throw it nearly enough.
  10. Well, this was a disappointing game. Gavin still has no idea how to pitch from the stretch. Yesterday's off day came at a terrible time.
  11. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 23, 2012 -> 02:13 AM) Alex Rios still sucks. He is on pace to hit 4 homers this year Biggest batter of the game here for Gavin.
  12. Defense just didn't show up tonight.
  13. Gavin looked really good that inning. Be nice to get a few base runners this inning for our 3/4/5
  14. Who is everyone rooting for in Tigers/Indians game?
  15. How long before someone says how bad the Sox are at home?
  16. This guy seems like someone lefties should crush. Righties gonna have to stay on that breaking pitch though.
  17. Thanks, just saw Casilla's double on mlb.com. I can't believe the lack of fans at the game tonight.
  18. So what did PK do wrong this inning? Sucks we're facing Twins now, as they've been hitting really well for a while now.
  19. D. Sutton out in Arizona is far and away the best, IMO
  20. During this trying time, it is sad to me to see Sox fans arguing with each other. Can't Konerko just be the announcer now? If Vitale can do it with one eye, so can PK!
  21. As a #9 hitter, I'm excited for Hudson. Hopefully Morel gets his back into shape, and he proves that his struggles this year were simply due to the injury.
