QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Sep 18, 2011 -> 06:10 PM) Saints can run up middle easy seemingly, is the nose tackle not doing his job or the linebackers? I can't recall hearing Briggs name all game -

Great to see Dunn's playing DH against the lefty and AJP gets the start. De Aza not getting a chance to show he's more than a platoon player is pathetic. -

QUOTE (Marty34 @ Sep 18, 2011 -> 03:37 AM) And there are folks who "can't fault Kenny" for this. You're right, KW received zero blame at all for the Hudson/Jackson debacle of a trade...false. I truly don't think anyone would be upset if both KW and Ozzie get let go. What people are worried about is if KW gets let go and Ozzie stays. -

QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 18, 2011 -> 03:29 AM) As opposed to the ones that state to fire him, when ask.. what manager gets this team into the playoffs.. crickets. I'm not even looking towards the playoffs next year. I'm fine sacrificing a few seasons with a new coaching staff that helps develop our players. -

Again, this team has flat out quit. -
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 17, 2011 -> 10:51 PM) I think Ozzie genuinely dislikes him, deep down. I don't think it has anything to do with him as a person, I just think that Ozzie wants him to fail so that he's proven right. He's like a certain set of posters here who show up when the team is losing big in game threads. I've never felt like Ozzie got along well with the young players on the team.

QUOTE (SoxAce @ Sep 18, 2011 -> 01:43 AM) Yea I see him putting up 02-04, 06 Garland-type numbers with a possible 05, 10 numbers down the road. That sinker's going to actually have to sink. Like I've said earlier, Stewart should send the Twins a fruit basket. -

Stewart just doesn't have good stuff. Really can't project him as a starter -

Ga Tech's defense is pathetic, but their offense is putting up video game numbers so far. They've scored on their first play all three games now. -
Cooper and/or Ozzie status could affect MB coming back next year

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 17, 2011 -> 02:22 PM) Exactly my point. I wish people would stop talking about Buehrle to St. Louis, because it isn't happening. I wonder if Buehrle would go to the Cubs and play for the main rival of his two favorite teams? Cubs are going to be in the market for a lefty pitcher, as they're expected to go after 2 new starters. I can't picture Buehrle playing for them, but it makes more sense than him staying with Sox or going to Cardinals. -
QUOTE (iamshack @ Sep 17, 2011 -> 03:21 AM) The sad thing is, I actually believe this crew could outperform our current staff, after a reasonable period for a learning curve. Edit: Well, aside from the pitching/hitting coach spots...that takes a bit more technical knowledge than can be expected from a normal person. Excuse me, hitting coach doesn't matter. These are a bunch of adults that don't need guidance from anyone.

QUOTE (Papa Tru @ Sep 17, 2011 -> 05:22 AM) Why do people act like Tebow was awful when he got to play last season? There are a lot worse options out there than Tim Tebow.. Yeah, I'd gladly take Tebow as our 3rd stringer with certain packages having him behind center. Hell, he's a better goal-line runner than Forte is. -
QUOTE (iamshack @ Sep 17, 2011 -> 03:17 AM) If J4L was a beer vendor, there would be no more beer left to sell... I was actually thinking of this very same topic the other day... I'd make Kalapse the GM, with Balta as assistant GM and CHW42 as assistant assistant GM. My manager would be Fathom, with a pitching coach of Rock Raines and a hitting coach of DocSox24. 1st base coach would be Gingerkid and 3rd base coach would be Lost. Sqwert and Qwerty would be my play-by-play and color men, respectively. Russ would handle player development along with J4L. Steve would be my VP of marketing. I need to teach my son how to tweet

Congrats heads. UCONN really downgraded in their coaching staff from last year to this year.
