  1. QUOTE (greg775 @ Aug 14, 2011 -> 07:17 PM) To the 80 percent of America who still follow batting average, his batting average is excellent. His defense is fine. His willingness to learn how to bunt and get a hit off a bunt is very excellent. He's a good ballplayer. You're ridiculous...I pray that Ozzie takes Juan with him to Florida next year so you can see how terrible of a player he is.
  2. Sale's just awesome...nice clutch hit by Quentin tonight
  3. Had to laugh at Lillibridge not taking that for the unassisted out.

A-Team wasn't bad at all. My wife watched How Do You Know and You Again, and thought they were just about the worst movies she's seen.
  6. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Aug 14, 2011 -> 04:13 AM) I've got the game recorded, going to go back and pay attention a little more to the 1st half. One thing I noticed off the top of my head, the Bears are going to use nickel packages a lot. Jigs and Waddel bashing L. Louis
  7. Were Okoye's sacks due to positive things he did, or were they flukes?
  8. This is pretty impressive http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/multime...ent_id=17960703
  9. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Aug 14, 2011 -> 04:07 AM) You know KC is going to tie it up. Hosmer bats .223 against lefties, and we have three of them in our pen. What the hell was Ozzie thinking?
  10. Does Ozzie know that Crain has been terrible lately, and Sale has been unhittable?
  11. So why wasn't Sale in to face Hosmer? Sale not allowed to face righties either?
  12. Hawk, STOP CALLING HOSMER BY THE PITCHER'S NAME!
  13. QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Aug 14, 2011 -> 04:02 AM) Morel looked like me on that pitch. Morel definitely has a tendency to resemble a pitcher at the plate far too often.
  14. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Aug 14, 2011 -> 04:01 AM) Huh he check swung on a ball a foot outside and in the dirt He started his swing early, and knew he had been fooled.
  15. Wow Morel...you had been making some progress
  16. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Aug 14, 2011 -> 03:57 AM) Took 6 balls to walk him I have no problem with him swinging out of his butt on a 2-0 count.
  17. Hey, there we go CQ! Thanks for throwing it in his wheelhouse
  18. Some fascinating quotes by his teammates in this article http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseb...0,4215921.story
  19. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Aug 14, 2011 -> 03:46 AM) NO DP PK. Needs to make Crow get the ball up in the zone.
  20. Do a hit and run on the 3-1 count!
  21. QUOTE (jeffro2525 @ Aug 14, 2011 -> 02:41 AM) The amount of pressure the Sox pitchers have had to pitch under this year is unbelievable. Crain knows that a hit here virtually ends the game because as Farmio put it so well lastnight "Royals up 2...feels like 10". Indeed, and I feel like we're beginning to see it take a toll on our starters (besides Buehrle). There was a 2 or 3 week stretch where our starters didn't throw a pitch in which we led by more than 3 runs.
  22. Nice play by Lillibridge, but where was Omar?
  23. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Aug 14, 2011 -> 03:36 AM) 115 pitches and sleepy wakes up to get him. Lol And I'm sure in his next start against Texas, he'll complain that he pushed it too much tonight.
