  1. Yay, Mr. 6th Inning shows up again. Danks and Dunn, meet Hal Steinbrenner
  2. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ May 24, 2011 -> 01:24 AM) Jesus. What a complete bust this guy has been. His bat speed looks to be diminished. Almost as if pitcher has to make a mistake for him to hit a homer.
  3. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ May 24, 2011 -> 01:31 AM) Wallowitz is a dreamboat, especially now that he has Bernie. Bernadette has a great rack
  4. It's so frustrating watching Quentin bat right now. Pop up machine, even on hangers over the plate. I'm not sure which Sox hitter is more annoying to watch bat: Pierre, Dunn, Beckham, Quentin, or Rios
  5. QUOTE (iamshack @ May 24, 2011 -> 01:08 AM) Absolutely. If there is anyone he should hit, it's Garland. That being said, I don't think it's an issue of him losing bat speed because of age or anything. I think he's just fighting some mechanical adjustments and is most certainly pressing mentally. He'll figure it all out...the question is will it be in time? I think he'll figure it out, but his start this year in addition to how poorly he ended last year is definitely a big red flag.
  6. QUOTE (iamshack @ May 24, 2011 -> 02:01 AM) Or anyone, for that matter. The problem is he was brought in to help us from the left side, but any righty with good stuff just overpowers him it seems. When he struggled against Garland, it was a horrible sign IMO.
  7. Dunn has got to start contributing against these tough righties
  8. QUOTE (Soxfest @ May 24, 2011 -> 12:42 AM) As fast as JP is he hits into alot of DP's. That's cause he's not fast anymore. We should be doing a hit and run whenever Juan is up with someone on first.
  9. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 24, 2011 -> 12:25 AM) Any skepticism on Granderson and his 16? His body is not much different than it was 13 years ago when he was playing at TF South. He showed a lot of power in a huge park in Detroit, and the biggest improvement seems to be his approach against LHP. Playing in that park, it's not a surprise he's putting up huge numbers finally.
  10. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ May 23, 2011 -> 02:49 AM) Thibs with zero defensive adjustments since game one. How the f*** are we allowing bosh to beat us? It's sad that Bibby came up so huge for Heat.
  11. QUOTE (iamshack @ May 23, 2011 -> 02:48 AM) The officials make it very difficult to win on the road in the postseason, but the Bulls had this advantage while they were in Chicago, so there is no place for whining now. Well said...73-73 just seems so long ago
  12. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ May 23, 2011 -> 02:41 AM) They need to drive and kick it out to him. The problem now is they kick it out to the wings and the bulls hold onto it long enough for the heat to rotate over. Spoelstra's defensive strategy this series so far has been fantastic.
  13. Next 48 hours should be fun dealing with "controversy", as Noah called a Heat fan a gay slur.
  14. QUOTE (G&T @ May 23, 2011 -> 02:39 AM) All the Heat do is pump fake to get a foul and the Bulls are really that dumb that they keep jumping. The Bulls are just not good enough. In my opinion, Bulls aren't going to win this series unless Rose plays like the best player on the court. Boozer played very well tonight, but with Deng spending so much energy on defense, Rose needs to carry them.
  15. Heat seem to be getting every loose ball.
  16. At some point, we need to realize that leaving Bosh wide open is the Heat's best offense.
  17. James shifted his pivot foot twice there, and then so did Bosh. Need to get Boozer back in the game for Taj ASAP.
  18. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 23, 2011 -> 03:25 AM) The Heat don't shove people. Brewers back must have pushed into his arms I have such a hatred for how the Heat pump fake on every play looking for a foul. As I said last week, it's like playing someone in a video game that keeps forgetting what the shoot button is.
  19. Is it me, or did Haslem shove Brewer in the back on that last shot?
  20. QUOTE (fathom @ May 23, 2011 -> 03:20 AM) Deng is just non-existent on the offensive end. We need him to show up offensively to have any chance in this series. Thanks

  22. I think anyone associated with NIU is shocked it took Wolfe this long to get in trouble when he went to the NFL. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/break...0,2495439.story
  23. I loved that 60 Minutes piece. It sounds like the grand jury is going to have no option but to suggest federal charges.
