  1. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 29, 2011 -> 01:44 AM) who would've gladly taken a split with the yankees coming into this series? anyone? ME Good point ginger, but I would have much rather lost games 15-12 instead of 3-1.
  2. So yeah, having Jackson throw 120 pitches on April 7th really looks to be an awful move by Ozzie. He's given up 19 runs in 17.2 innings since, and his stuff isn't close to what he had before that.
  3. QUOTE (Marty34 @ Apr 29, 2011 -> 01:42 AM) Return 10-16. Change tomorrow Fathom? Insights? Nope, heard nothing. Lillibridge might have saved some jobs in the long run. I think they'll get this homestand to fight for their jobs, but that's my opinion.
  4. Ugh, every day, I get so mad we didn't trade Rios for Granderson this offseason. Be nice to have a charismatic player on our team also.
  5. QUOTE (Paint it Black @ Apr 29, 2011 -> 01:39 AM) Sizemore used to be my favorite player to watch, but he just can't stay healthy. He really hasn't been good since 2007. Hafer is alwaysssss injured. He's been a shell of his former self since 2005/2006. Hard to say Sizemore can't stay healthy after he had the major surgery. If we rip on their players for being hurt, then how about Quentin and Peavy for us?
  6. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 29, 2011 -> 01:39 AM) I don't give a s*** about Hudson, I just never wanted EJax cause of his inconsistency, I don't care about his "stuff". Unlike KW's other disasterous moves, at least he has a good contract and we'll be out from under it after this year.
  7. QUOTE (Paint it Black @ Apr 29, 2011 -> 01:35 AM) Soo Choo and Santana are the only players worth a damn on that team. Chizenhall might be good once they call him up to play third. Couldn't tell you much specifics about their rotation besides the fact that it's bad. So Sizemore isn't worth a damn? Hafner hasn't been bad at all the last two years either.
  8. QUOTE (Paint it Black @ Apr 29, 2011 -> 12:32 AM) It's scary how people thought Morel would hit. I really wish we could get Viciedo's bat into the lineup against LHP. Our current lineup vs LHP is terrible.
  9. QUOTE (Paint it Black @ Apr 29, 2011 -> 12:30 AM) Question: Did you think the Indians were going to be any good before the season started? If not, what has changed your mind? Seriously, a correction is coming for both teams, it's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when. No, but Sizemore/A. Cabrera have returned looking healthy. Sure their guys won't keep hitting .375, but Carlos Santana will improve his numbers also. Who do they have taking Carrasco's rotation spot?
  10. I refuse to believe Morel flew out to right. It's scary how little Morel and Rios are bringing to the table these days.
  11. Thing is, the Sox have more talent than the Indians (on paper), but if this offense continues to slump and Indians offense continues to pound the ball, you start to worry that the 10-15 game lead they have will require a huge run by the Sox to get back into contention. The offense is showing absolutely no signs of breaking out of the 3 week slump.
  12. You should have heard MLB Network raving about Orlando Cabrera last night saying how he's a winner. Unfortunately, Joe Cowley was unavailable to comment.
  13. Please tell me Rios has taken over WAR's worst player in the majors award? .455 OPS and falling.
  14. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Apr 29, 2011 -> 12:14 AM) Everything about he Indians right now if for real. Their first 5 hitters of Sizemore, A. Cabrera, Choo, Santana and Hafner is really solid. If they get a few more players to have good years, they're going to be in this for a long time.
  15. On the way to being 7 games back. If we don't start playing good baseball, we're going to be back double digits in two weeks. Indians offense is for real.
  16. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Apr 29, 2011 -> 12:07 AM) He is Javy Vazquez holy s***. Javy's had a way better career than Jackson.
  17. QUOTE (Real @ Apr 29, 2011 -> 12:06 AM) I'll say it again: This team is FULL OF MENTAL f***UPS. WHY DO WE HAVE SO MANY PLAYERS ON THIS TEAM THAT FOLD UNDER PRESSURE. No matter who's on the team, they seem to have similar issues.
  18. QUOTE (sin city sox fan @ Apr 29, 2011 -> 12:04 AM) Jackson still has a no hitter going and everyone's b****ing....what gives? I don't think I've agreed with a single post of yours all year. Cheers!!
  19. QUOTE (Real @ Apr 29, 2011 -> 12:03 AM) Now we're seeing exactly why teams don't keep Edwin around very long Don't worry, we won't either. Wouldn't shock me at all if Jackson is on the Yankees next year (if not by the trade deadline).
  20. Good recipe for success walking their 8-9
  21. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 28, 2011 -> 11:53 PM) what is Stoney talking about? Hopefully he DOES have to bring the tarp out, the game gets postponed, and it can be rescheduled when CC is not pitching. A 90 minute rain delay would be nice.
  22. Grady Sizemore looks fantastic! That Indians lineup is becoming very dangerous.
  23. These NL style lineups continue to get nothing done in the 8-9-1 spot.
