  1. Hawk, that was not hit that hard and if it went past Pavano, would have been easy play for their 2b.
  2. QUOTE (kapzk @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 03:15 AM) so dumb giving up that run in the 8th, should have pulled out gavin You mean after Gavin almost allowed an 800 foot homer?
  3. Jeez, have a clue Quentin. Stone was quite annoyed there.
  4. Very nice Alexei! Time for a blast
  5. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 03:11 AM) But no steroids aided bat. Those Braves team were such frauds. They made a huge park look like a launching pad.
  6. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 03:09 AM) Well, if the Indians hold on to beat DET, we're still only 4 1/2 games back. Great play by Beckham, there. I'm not sure which team is more dangerous though....Minnesota or the Tigers? Tigers, no doubt about it
  7. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 02:03 AM) I wouldn't call Gavin's start lifeless. He had his usual brain-fart early in the game but like he did before, he settled down and held them down. Lot of hits allowed to a split-squad lineup.
  8. Gavin left in way too long tonight. Twins with great swings against him this inning. Oh well, what a bad performance by entire team.
  9. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 02:02 AM) 5 SB against................AJ move on. 6 million dollar man next year
  10. I'll never understand why we didn't try to upgrade our catching position by going after Olivo.
  11. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 02:52 AM) I'm glad they're not taking Pavano the other way like the Tigers did. That could hurt his confidence. This has been a pathetic clinic by our righty hitters.
  12. Such a lifeless performance
  13. Keep pulling that outside slider. Like I said, playing right into their game plan.
  14. AJ would be amazing at throwing out runners if they were stealing 2nd after starting at 3rd base.
  15. Have we had any righties hit a ball to the right side tonight?
  16. QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 02:34 AM) Pavano only around 65 pitches. Awful ABs. Defeated before we even take the field
  17. Keep trying to pull that pitch guys!
  18. Wow Carlos, not a good at bat
  19. At least we're benching Lillibridge for him. Who needs better offense, better defense, better base running.
  20. WOW! What a disgrace. How the f*** is slappy getting the most at bats on our team?
  21. This looks like the old corpseball games of years ago. Our hitters are playing right into Pavano's/Butera's plan
  22. The Twins pitch our hitters the same way every single year. High and in with the fastball, low and away with offspeed pitch. That has as much to do with their success against us than anything else.
  23. Don't tell J4L that Morse has two more homers
  24. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 12:54 AM) No, we can't. You'll yell at us. But can you imagine the emotional lift it would give the team
