  1. QUOTE (BearSox @ May 21, 2011 -> 03:02 AM) You could say haha if his stuff turned flat after 1 inning. But the case is that his fastball has been flat all night and he keeps throwing it. Yep, not one fastball hasn't tailed right over the heart of plate.
  2. Ozzie really should just be given the pink slip immediately after this game is over. Easily one of the worst managerial moves he's ever made here.
  3. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 21, 2011 -> 03:00 AM) Why isn't ohman in for loney? Our team decided to quit after Gibbons pop up in the 9th.
  4. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 21, 2011 -> 02:59 AM) So who told me that Sergio could go 1.2 innings earlier I don't even blame this as much on Sergio as I do the pitch selection. This is absolutely insane.
  5. Really Ozzie, leaving him in there?
  6. AJP is a f***ing idiot. All the damage done on Santos' fastball. We don't deserve to win this.
  7. WHAT ARE OUR CATCHERS DOING??
  8. Whew, hard hit out. Throw more sliders Sergio!!
  9. Ugh, this doesn't seem promising. Santos' fastball is so hittable right now cause it's tailing right into the righties' sweet spot.
  10. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ May 21, 2011 -> 02:51 AM) ton of hittable pitches that they do nothing with The 3-1 Quentin took was the perfect pitch for him to end this game on.
  11. Crap, great pitch for Beckham to hit.
  12. Well, I've seen these swings before by the Sox at home in the 9th/extra innings. Rios had some great pitches to hit, but god forbid he ever contribute to the Sox winning.
  13. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 21, 2011 -> 02:44 AM) Gmab man, guys who hit fastballs have struggles with sergio. He left a ball up and out over the plate. Somehow I doubt that was the pitch called for Called for a fastball, and Sergio's fastball was tailing tonight. It was the only pitch call that he could have hurt us on.
  14. Terrible pitch selection of 2-1 fastball to a guy that showed he can hit a fastball.
  15. That a boy Crain!! So...how bad was that Castro at bat?
  16. Weird 0-2 pitch, but we'll take it. Not sure why Miles wasn't used there, unless he's injured.
  17. Uribe's out of the game
  18. That should be it for Thornton.
  19. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 21, 2011 -> 02:16 AM) Hasnr Crain worked a lot lately? Or am I jut drunk and low on blood? Been off for at least two days. Just brutal managing.
  20. Wow, Thorton's just brutal. It's a sad day when Don Mattingly outmanages you. I wish he was bunting there.
  21. Thornton got screwed on that 1-1 pitch. I would have much rather had Crain in to face Gwynn Jr.
  22. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 21, 2011 -> 02:12 AM) Give him time. When I saw him last year he banged 2 off the right center wall. In the minors?
  23. Morel doesn't have enough opposite field power to consistently hit the ball over the right fielder's head. I like his swing more when he tries to pull the ball.
  24. Hell of an effort by Humber if he was as sick as Hawk/Stoney were.
