White Sox vs. Los Angeles Angels 4/15, 7:10 PM CT. CSN
QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 16, 2011 -> 02:51 AM) All-in is a joke. We're having a fairly cruddy homestand all of a sudden. I'm sure if this keeps up, Oz will be the first manager fired this year. Problem is, they'd just give it to somebody on the current staff for the rest of the year and that won't solve anything. Very disappointing beginning. If we lose tonight, we are 7-6. Considering the opposition, s***ty record for a team 'All-In.' I think I'd be less upset if we didn't have that bulls*** slogan. For the record I don't want Oz fired, but I won't be heartbroken when he gets the ax. He's rich enough and will land on his feet and be in baseball the rest of his life and make more money than most of us will ever dream of. Sad start to this season. Greg, this team had a chance to go 10-2 or so in first two weeks and get the city pumped. Instead, the bullpen/defense has s*** the bed, and now there's not much excitement about the team. With the ridiculous road stretch coming up, this team needs to start playing better all around baseball in order to have an exciting summer at the Cell.

QUOTE (DukeofChicago88 @ Apr 16, 2011 -> 02:49 AM) F***ing rain go away Hell no, a nice 90 minute rain delay and then we get 4 innnings off of Angels bullpen instead of Weaver would be nice.

QUOTE (Wanne @ Apr 16, 2011 -> 02:39 AM) Omar needs to get a little more PT at 3rd... Might as well let Teahen play while he's swinging well. I've seen enough of Morel to have him sit about 3-4 games a week.

QUOTE (DukeofChicago88 @ Apr 16, 2011 -> 02:43 AM) Yay Jeff Gray lets see how much this guys sucks. He throws a nice hanging slider. His sinker though looks good...94-95 mph with movement.

Way to swing at the first pitch Juan, you dumbass.

QUOTE (Real @ Apr 16, 2011 -> 01:25 AM) This was true in 2005 too. Our bullpen has probably given up more runs this year than we did all during 2005 (not true, but it sure seems that way)

Rios has no power in his swings. His slugging is near .280, and he's really one hit one ball that got to the warning track.

QUOTE (DukeofChicago88 @ Apr 16, 2011 -> 02:19 AM) I thought he played well in the last weeks of spring training and the first week or so of the season. Now he looks sluggish at the plate and hes making errors.. Of course our prospects always do, as they have a gaping hole where they can't hit offspeed pitches.

Awesome...defense costs us 2 more runs. Humber was just cruising for a bruising all game, as his command and stuff were awful. Good thing we played for one run in the bottom of the inning.

What is Going Wrong With the Sox
Dunn is like the Kevin Love of baseball. Puts up good stats but will never win anything.

QUOTE (DukeofChicago88 @ Apr 16, 2011 -> 02:14 AM) Suddenly I'm losing a lot of faith in Morel He's a Sox prospect...what were you expecting?

Holy cow, our defense is awful. Totally unimpressed by Morel on defense so far. We're in a ton of trouble this game.

QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 16, 2011 -> 02:08 AM) why didn't he throw the hook on 3-2? No idea, he's not even close with his fastball. It's ok, walking guys who are 5-50 on the year is always smart.

Humber gives up the lead easily as he continues to have zero command.

QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 16, 2011 -> 02:03 AM) f***ing Dunn, just a hit dude He's going to infruriate a lot of people with his inability to make contact.

White Sox vs. Los Angeles Angels 4/15, 7:10 PM CT. CSN
Dunn seems off-balanced at the plate. Not putting his normal strong swing on the pitch. Big opportunity missed to put a crooked number on the board.

If that went into the crowd, would Alexei have been awarded home?

QUOTE (Wanne @ Apr 16, 2011 -> 01:58 AM) who hasn't. good god...Ozzie thinks he's got Cy Young on the hill. Between Humber on the mound and our bullpen, it's comical playing for one run in the 3rd inning (especially with Pierre up next who can't hit the ball far enough for a sac fly).

STOP BUNTING! Morel's failed twice bunting already this season.

Excellent base running by AJP. Morel's going to be asked to bunt here....oh boy

QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 16, 2011 -> 01:45 AM) no s***, talk about a bad draw! as I said earlier, we also get Verlander and Scherzer next week. Be nice for Dunn to get going again.

It's totally nuts that we will have faced Cahill, Anderson, Weaver, Haren and Price in 5 out of 6 games.
