  1. Is it true that all 40 of Bautista's home runs have been to the left side of center field?
  2. Had the pleasure of watching the last inning in that Phillies/Astros game. I saw something I've never seen before, and that was some of the Astros players in the dugout clapping along with a "Let's go Oswalt" chant. Bagwell was definitely one of those clapping in unison with the crowd.
  3. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Aug 25, 2010 -> 05:30 PM) Look up. Beat my by 1 minute!
  4. QUOTE (greg775 @ Aug 25, 2010 -> 06:20 AM) How can somebody in authority on a site be so rude? I don't get it. That's like a manager of a restaurant telling you to f*** off if you don't like the uncooked steak. Haha, you're upset about this but not upset about Ozzie telling the fans to stop watching the f'n games if they don't like his decisions?
  5. QUOTE (hitlesswonder @ Aug 25, 2010 -> 05:11 PM) It's possible that KW wasn't exactly telling the truth to the Trib. I wouldn't be surprised if he was flat-out lying and that he vetoed Ozzie's request. I have to think at least one of Ozzie or KW is gone after this season and then both after 2011.... Didn't the Tribune article say that KW went as far as to show the text messages he got from Ozzie to prove they didn't believe they needed another reliever? Ugh, I'm so sick of the bulls*** between the GM and Manager.
  6. KW and Ozzie upset with each other again? Haugh was trying to explain KW's side of the story, but meanwhile, he made it look like Ozzie was upset with KW. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseb...4,0,5312.column
  7. Hell of a performance by Jenks. Really showed a lot of guts the last two games.
  8. So if Jenks threw that ball into center field, does Hawk swear on live television?
  9. Haha, yes sir! Jenks continues to be the best fielding pitcher in Sox history. Never seen him mess up a play.
  10. Gotta love Hawk blaming Joe West for bullpen issues, even though it's only impacting Pena tonight.
  11. QUOTE (Friend of Nordhagen @ Aug 25, 2010 -> 04:00 AM) At this point, how can Matt Thornton not be placed on the DL? We are literally out of pitchers. JOE WEST
  12. QUOTE (JorgeFabregas @ Aug 25, 2010 -> 03:59 AM) I didn't even know that JJ was available for this game. I figured he was still hurt. The MRI on his knee was clean, so he's just going to have to rest up so the inflammation dies down. Can't keep putting him on the mound and hoping his knee doesn't start bugging him.
  13. Note to Sox training staff: if Putz throws a 91 mph fastball, he's hurt
  14. Maybe KW should be looking for relief help instead of Manny?
  15. Wow, this is f***ing insane. If he's not healthy, why the f*** is he out there?
  16. Looks like Putz knee just flared up again. Only reached 91 mph, and then seemed to grimmace.
  17. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Aug 25, 2010 -> 03:54 AM) Are we even allowed to get outs in the 9th anymore? If this follows the script of recent games, Wiggington will reach base and Scott will homer on the first pitch.
  18. QUOTE (Capn12 @ Aug 25, 2010 -> 03:53 AM) Awful. Simply awful I don't get why he seems to have abandoned his slider. It was the pitch he was dominating the earlier part of the season with.
  19. Wow, it's just totally mental for our bullpen right now.
  20. I wish we saw Sergio's slider more often. All the damage against him seems to be done via his fastball/change-up.
  21. Y tu Sergio? Brian Roberts must be hitting like .900 in his career against the Sox from the 8th inning on.
  22. QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Aug 25, 2010 -> 02:42 AM) I just try to have a wee bit of common sense and not have a coronary every time ozzie speaks. How is having a runner in scoring position with Cause what's the point of having Pierre if you're not going to let him steal to get into scoring position. You might as well have an OBP god like Thome being your leadoff hitter if you're not going to trust him. Now, if Pierre is on 2nd base and no outs, I'm fine with the bunt.
  23. Pierre continues to play great baseball. The #1, 4, 7 and 9 spots are flourishing right now.
