Adam Dunn Trade rumor thread
I fear that after nights like tonight, KW will be more willing to give in to the crazy demands of the Nationals. Also, in case you haven't noticed, Dunn has really struggled since we played them.

GT - 7/3/10 - Pale Hose @ Alex 7:05 CT
Greg, Ozzie was the one who started Jones. Ozzie was the one who brought in the struggling Pena in a 2 run game. Ozzie let Jones bat in the 8th as the tying run. Ozzie let Washington dictate all the moves in the 8th to his advantage. Ozzie decided to have CQ bat for Viciedo, who at least has power, and decided to let one of the weakest hitters in baseball (Beckham) bat. This was a terribly managed game by someone's who ego has KILLED this offense. Thome has more extra base hits today than we've had in a month, it seems.

One of the worst managed games of the season for Ozzie. If Rios, PK, and Quentin have lost their way, then we're completely screwed.

I would have let Viciedo bat and PH for Beckham. Beckham is a f***ing awful, awful player.

Why does Quentin struggle so much with hanging curveballs? He looks completely out of his groove.

Some bad execution and strategy cost us a few runs these last couple of innings.

Why not let CQ or Castro hit for AJP?

Great pitching performance the first two games, all things considered.

greg, it's ironic because Ozzie was the only one who didn't want him back.

Sqwert...what really sucks is we're going to have to give up one or two of the few prospects we have in order to acquire more hitting, when all KW had to do is tell Ozzie to STFU and sign Thome. Thome's OPS is approaching 1

Greg, that's just too funny you're begging Thome to return. It's days like today that make Ozzie look even dumber.

It's like our players are swinging with wiffle ball bats. They're getting good pitches to hit, and they just have absolutely no power.

Earmuffs everyone...but f*** you Ozzie for letting Andruw bat there.

Maybe the worst AB in Konerko's career.

Rios cannot square up a fastball right now.

Well, have the heart and souls of the team coming up as tying runs. Good job Pierre/Alexei...that should be our 1-2 every game.

This might be the most boring game of the season, even the runs against us have been boring. At least Buehrle is pitching tomorrow, and we know how he dominates in Texas!!

That's true 101, but we've spent a lot of resources on Linebrink and Pena, which makes it disappointing to have them become worthless.

Looks like Pena is becoming a liability in the pen again.

Sorry shack, for someone reason my reply button isn't working. You can just tell by Viciedo's swing that he cannot get the bat head out in time for inside fastballs. If it's outside, he can mash it. I'd love to know where his home runs went in AAA this season, by direction.

Beckham is the biggest bust in all of baseball this season. Unfortunately, there's absolutely no guarantee he turns it around. It's times like this I wish we had someone different as our hitting coach.

How in the hell can we not hit this pitcher? Also, I don't think it's possible for Viciedo to hit an inside fastball with authority. Once again, another Sox prospect with a huge hole in his swing.

#400 is not a huge milestone when not a person on the planet thinks you did it cleanly

We don't even use Andruw as a defensive replacement though.
