The 2005 Sox had a much worse 5th starter situation coming into that year, and then Duque goes and gets hurt. Thankfully, McCarthy was able to pick up some HUGE victories.

Richard will make a good 6th/7th inning reliever down the road. It's just when teams see him the second time through the lineup, they realize he's just not very good.
