  1. Haha, the Bears receivers are f***ing pathetic.
  2. Peterson really would have scored on that play. R. Davis needs to catch that ball.
  3. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Dec 3, 2007 -> 12:17 AM) Cause he dropped a pass? The Bears has multiple chances to ice it after the Hester dropped, and they sat on it and played prevent defense. This whole coaching staff is terrible. That was such a huge play though in this game.
  4. Ugh, Peterson's been pathetic this half in terms of breaking tackles.
  5. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Dec 3, 2007 -> 12:12 AM) This loss goes completely on the shoulders of the coaching staff. You win the turnover battle what, 4-0, 5-0, get great field position all day long, score on your opening drive and STILL can't win? What an embarrassment. After tonight, play for the draft pick. We f***ing suck. And Devin Hester
  6. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Dec 3, 2007 -> 12:07 AM) The play-calling was f***ing stupid. You don't need great blocking to get four yards on two downs. And f***ing Babich has been playing prevent the whole second half. Can we fire EVERYONE on the coaching staff after this miserable performance? It's amazing how awful the coaching staffs are for the three Chicago teams I like.
  7. Nice prevent defense the Bears are playing.
  8. What a terrible play call on that 3rd down.
  9. Run the ball more....get that clock running. The wind is incredibly strong at the stadium right now.
  10. Anyone else get the feeling we'll see "Bad Rex" this half?
  11. I can't stand when teams spike a ball with 30 seconds left. It's such a waste, as you'll only take off about 6 seconds if you do a normal play call. I understand doing it if there's no timeouts left though, but the Bears still had one.
  12. Hunter Hillenmeyer is playing a pathetic game. Great catch by Berrian there. I didn't mention this earlier, but I loved the way Peterson picked up a 1st down on the first drive on that toss left. There's no way Benson would have juked a guy.
  13. QUOTE(StrangeSox @ Dec 2, 2007 -> 10:07 PM) They are blitzing Grossman almost every play. I'm telling you, that Hester play took the wind out of the team. Bad luck there with that ball just missing R.W.
  14. I think we saw on that drive why St. Clair and Mark Bradley never play.
  15. QUOTE(AssHatSoxFan @ Dec 2, 2007 -> 09:56 PM) has anyone taught Rex to take a sack and not keep running backwards, the NYG DLs are much faster than him It is like a 3 yard difference....at least he didn't fumble. In that situation, the one thing you can't do is get an intentional grounding in the end zone. Is there really a reason to criticize Rex so far today?
  16. Oh Hester....that's a season ending drop.
  17. Really makes you wonder why the Bears haven't tried that earlier. Either way, that was a lot of fun.
  18. QUOTE(Vance Law @ Dec 2, 2007 -> 08:19 PM) I'd like to see Nady take away some of Thome's at bats against lefties. I'd like to see Thome never, ever face a LHP again, but I know that won't happen.
  19. QUOTE(BearSox @ Dec 2, 2007 -> 08:10 PM) you didn't hear? KW is now going to take a look at every fans projected lineup and get his ideas from there. 'We'll wait and see if something develops on the trade market,'' Williams said. ''It doesn't have to be a center fielder. We may choose to go the left-field route. We have a lot of flexibility as far as that's concerned.'' Flexibility = Jerry Owens can play either LF or CF http://www.suntimes.com/sports/baseball/wh...T-sox02.article
  20. QUOTE(BearSox @ Dec 2, 2007 -> 08:09 PM) Hell, if we had Garza we would keep him and he'd be our no. 3 right now. And be throwing 91 mph instead of 96 mph.
  21. QUOTE(rockren @ Dec 2, 2007 -> 08:05 PM) Every projected lineup I've seen the past few weeks doesn't have Jerry Owens anywhere near it. Whether you like it or not...the chances of Owens being in LF/CF next year are overwhelming. Which projected lineups are these?
  22. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Dec 2, 2007 -> 08:04 PM) Well the funny thing is the excuses for some of the guys we drafted. We picked up Broadway because dealer Kenny wanted someone that would be ready quickly and we could use to trade for talent. Yet its Garza who was drafted after Broadway, and he is moved for Delmon. Young would of been great in our OF. Thats the type of impact young bat we need. So not only has our minors not given us some talent outside of a guy here or there. But now the trading chips dont look like they can get us anything. Its a failure all around. Hopefully Kenny gets off his hard on for certain players or we will waste the 8th draft pick on Danks brother. What an overdraft that will be. Maybe John Danks 2nd half debacle will lessen the Sox love affair with the family.
