I love when athletes try to come up with reasons they signed other than just saying "X team offered me significantly more money than anyone else".

Rowand wants 5 year deal, but Sox are only going to give him 4 years. Bay is someone who I thought KW might be interested in, but the Pirates are supposedly asking for the moon for him. The Fukodome stuff is interesting, as earlier today there were rumblings that the Sox weren't interested in him. http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/7506740

Real quick opinion, not like anyone cares. David Riske is a reliever who doesn't handle tough outs well. His stuff has deteriorated over the last few years, and I have no problem with them not tendering him last season.

That's a great article....only part that I don't want to see is KW saying he's bothered that a team could come in and blow their offer away.
