I really wish Sox broadcasts would stop showing replays of close pitches that were called balls by the Sox pitchers, especially early in the count. Boers and Bernstein were saying how often it happens during our games, and it doesn't seem quite frequent.

Chad Qualls is the city of Chicago's b****. Soriano looking pretty good at the plate lately.

Dbacks took the lead after some nice patience at the plate. I've never seen a game where 3 of the first 5 innings had bang-bang plays at the plate.

Cubs get a gift run as Upton refuses to throw the ball in and then they botch the play at the plate. That's 4 errors on Upton this season already.

I think a poor offensive showing tonight sets the stage for a miserable road trip. If we lose, that's fine...but score more than 2 runs though.

Haren pitched a great game, but not putting away Lilly with 2 outs might be the game. Cubs have the pitching advantage the next two games, so hopefully Arizona pulls one out.
