Isn't Otsuka a FA after this season?

In Jose's last 11 regular season starts in 2005, he gave up 18 earned runs. In his last 2 games, he's given up 19 earned runs.

Put Haeger into the starting spot, and then let Floyd and Contreras go to the bullpen.

Contreras' ERA is going to be around 7 soon. If Ozzie was being serious when he said that this team has a chance, then he needs to quit right now, as his managing this inning was purely idiotic.

Another hit here, and we're looking at 9 runs for Contreras. 10 runs and 9 runs in consecutive outings is quite impressive. I particularly like Logan being brought in to face a righty after letting a lefty face Contreras....a lefty who is bad against LHP. Can we trade Ozzie at the deadline?

Well, right here, Ozzie is officially putting Jose's stats/feelings above that of the team. No way he should be pitching to Granderson.

This is pathetic....make him into a reliever if you have to, but I never want to see Contreras start a game for the Sox again. He's allowed 15 base runners so far today.

Can Contreras give up 8 runs this game after allowing 10 last game?

3 more outs, and the lead is down to 2 games.

Once the deadline passes, you put Contreras on the DL for a month and see if he can finish up strong. His contract is an absolute albatross right now.
