I dont get it . Why not hit for Pods with Ozuna ,JD, and BA on the bench ? PH JD put him in right and move MAk to left or PH BA or Ozuna and they become late innings defensive replacement or Pods . It makes no sense to leave Pods in there against a lefty in the late innings when a 2nd run is huge .
I can at least see why Ozzie would leave Pods in, as he had a hit vs a lefty last night. However, leaving Mackowiak in to hit in such a big spot was pathetic managing.

BTW...how the f*** do you let 2 lefty OFs hit against Embree when you have 3 righty OFs on the bench?
Sometimes I forget how much I hate his in-game managing.

AJ has been nothing short of AWFUL so far this year.
It's scary that he looks the same way he did during the second half last year. I doubt I'm the only one who feels like he makes hitting seem hard right now.

Ask *any* manager, don't single this out on Ozzie.
There's no way you have someone hit for AJP in that situation. Too early to leave yourself with one catcher eligible, especially someone with no experience.

This place is hilarious
Crede, Dye, PK, AJ all suck yet there are shades of 05 in the air.
Well, truth be told, our offense did suck to start 2005. Way too early to make those comparisons though.

is it jsut me or does the A's lineup look realllllllyyyyyy weak? i mean shannon stweart after kendall? then the almighty bradley and piazza? even swisher had a low average last year ( around .260 i think)
Are you trying for the jinx?
