White Sox vs. Indians, 4/14/07 (L)
QUOTE(jphat007 @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 07:45 PM) He only has 1 SO in 24 ABs this year. I know, and I know he had a single last night. He's actually one of the only players who I'm confident will come around and put up better numbers than they did last year.

We're hitting the ball right on the button.

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 07:44 PM) They're now giving Iguchi an error. Bout f***ing time. It's the first thing he's had in the box score besides an AB and K in a long time.

QUOTE(caulfield12 @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 07:39 PM) I would rather have Dewon Day at this point. Heck, Todd Day and Lee Mayberry couldn't do much worse if they were in the line-up. Can we have Oliver Miller leadoff?

Hawk is verbally cheating on Yaz and Jim Rice with Dick Williams.

Sisco should have never made this team over Logan.

QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 07:35 PM) The good news is that the offense can not be this bad forever. The bad news is that we lost two of three in this series with C.C. owning us tomorrow. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 07:32 PM) Yeah. I think he grounded into almost as many DPs in the last month than he had all season. Back flared up. or he was trying way too hard to hit homer #30.

QUOTE(caulfield12 @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 07:32 PM) Can anyone think of a worse White Sox game in recent memory? I'm thinking the game Bedard totally shut us down last year...but at least we were shut down by a pitcher by very good stuff. Maybe Buehrle's start at Wrigley? Our offense was great that day in Wrigley. I always remember the game after the Crede walkoff homer vs Indians as one of the worst games I ever saw the Sox play.

QUOTE(Capn12 @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 07:30 PM) We have got some kind of explosive offense here Maybe KW knew what he was doing by starting rebuilding one year early.

QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 07:30 PM) Clutch my ass. 2006 was a fluke for Crede and it still wasn't that good. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't he suck over the last month or so last year?

White Sox vs. Indians, 4/14/07 (L)
Clutch Crede strikes again. Please remind me when the last time he was actually clutch?

Kinda funny that Hawk said Bettancourt is the same as Rincon. They both had bad luck with over-the-counter meds that happened to give them positive 'roids tests.

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 07:20 PM) That logic is so compltely f***ed. He's sacrificing at bats and games at this point because he's in love with players over 27. All I know is that if we go into rebuilding mode after this year, that piece of s*** better not be our manager.

QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 07:18 PM) I can't explain how glad I am to NOT have to listen to Hawk right now. I can only imagine the s*** he's saying that would push me over the edge. He said how Erstad has done everything right since he's been here. He also started talking about how good Yaz looked. QUOTE(SoxAce @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 07:20 PM) Is that what I predicted or you? I thought I said 84. 83, tied for 4th was my prediction

QUOTE(SoxAce @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 07:17 PM) I don't think many people did. This is the prove me wrong year for us like I've said multiple times. I just don't see us doing much even though our pitching keeps me optimistic. 83 wins

Chasing ball 4....excellent. Does he swing a wiffle ball bat? He can't go on the DL soon enough. This 3 straight lefties in the lineup, when your manager won't ph, is about the dumbest lineup decision I've seen.

QUOTE(jphat007 @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 07:15 PM) That's fine. But quote s*** I said. Don't make up s*** I didn't say. To be fair, I thought when you said the thing about Buehrle last year that you were trying to say he was having a better season up to that point than Santana.

Erstad facing a LHP? f*** you Ozzie. This team needs more Pablo.

QUOTE(jphat007 @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 07:13 PM) Quit freakin posting s*** I didn't say. I never said I'd take Buerhle over Johan. NEVER did I say that in that thread last night. Do you have a reading comprehension problem? Pods over Sizemore? We all make bad proclamations sometimes.

White Sox vs. Indians, 4/14/07 (L)
QUOTE(jphat007 @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 07:10 PM) A few feet? You need to watch the replay after the game. Not sure he could have caught it, but Erstad took way too long retrieving it. With a runner racing towards home, you need to show more intensity going after the ball.

QUOTE(SoxAce @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 07:09 PM) Our defense now is laughable mostly Uribe and Gooch. Don't forget LF/RF

I honestly think Cooper stresses not throwing as hard in order to get movement or control. For some people it works, others, it doesn't. Sisco used to throw like 96 mph, and now he's throwing around 88 mph. Terrible defense this inning hurts. Oh well, we deserve to lose today. We got a gift win yesterday.

QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 07:06 PM) What exactly was Erstad "selling" as he was tip-toeing on the track? There were two outs. Ha, he did seem like the CF version of Pods.
