  1. Didn’t say I would do it for Montas, but he’s absolutely not untouchable for me.
  2. Montgomery is easily trade bait for me
  3. fathom replied to BamaDoc's topic in FutureSox Board
    Appreciate all the updates
  4. That’s just not a good 0-0 swing by Eloy. Won’t hit 40 homers that way.
  5. Do they teach Pac12 players to run on the grass?
  6. Especially when they knew Kimbrel would be traded and that pitchers wouldn’t be pushed much at the beginning.
  7. Lopez has nothing. This pitching depth is a disaster.
  8. Also we all thought it was to be a utility player and a main 2nd baseman and RF would be signed
  9. Amazing how much the talent level has decreased in a two week span
  10. Agreed, but the frustrating/scary thing is there’s no limit to how many of your guys can get injured. Sox have already had some huge pieces get hurt...it doesn’t mean they’re safe from now on. If our opponents stay healthy for the next few weeks, nearly every pitching matchup is going to see the Sox at a disadvantage. I would argue the Sox have the worst pitching in the division currently.
  11. Agreed, I just don’t view anyone (besides Colas and Vera) as anywhere close to untouchable. I thought he would have gone for more than he did.
  12. Should have done it, whatever it was.
  13. In the last two weeks, we’ve lost Crochet for the year, Yoan for a month, Lynn for two months and Giolito for a while. Injuries suck but losing difference makers is a killer.
  14. Giolito to me is the one player the Sox can least afford to lose given this particular roster.
  15. And then long relief becomes even more of an issue, as most of those starters you mention (and Kopech) aren’t giving you a lot of innings.
  16. Sheets or Vaughn would be destroyed on here if they did that.
  17. Considering he’s still being evaluated, it’s likely not a cramp
  18. I don’t even care about today’s result. If Giolito is out 4-8 weeks, this team is totally fucked.
  19. Ugh, news on Giolito doesn’t sound great
  20. Yep, if he’s bad this year the team is likely in trouble.
