    It’s insane how much they’re stressing velocity stuff at even the youngest levels of travel ball. I know of a prominent 10u team that will pull you if you’re not at least at 50 mph on the mound.

    But that’s why they like Correa...he’s young enough where he should be able to still be good when Davis and others are ready. Personally I think Correa will age poorly...and I just think he’s an asshole

    Maybe the Sox don’t think the reports line up with how he mentally handles discomfort? This is a guy who said he was healthy the last few months of the season, yet his velocity disappeared.

    That makes a lot of sense actually. They had been rumored for Castellanos before the lockout, but then one of their beat writers said that’s not likely.
