I've never even seen Million Dollar Baby and probably never will. Taye Diggs was annoying as all hell in Equilibrium, that much is obvious but Bale was just fantastic and since he was on screen for about 100% of the scenes in the movie he was able to carry it along despite his supporting cast and a flimsy plot.

Yes, worse than Uribe. He's putting up a .243/.293/.294/.587 line in the National League compared to Uribe's .218/.273/.333/.606 in the American League. Omar has a grand total of 12 extra base hits, his legs are beginning to leave him and his defense is starting to slip. He'll be 41 years old next year and he's having one of the most pathetic seasons you're ever going to see from a possible hall of famer. There's really no reason for him to play next year.

Vizquel has been one of the worst players in baseball this season, possibly the worst. I imagine he'll retire after this season rather than embarrass himself again next year.

Usually when Japanese players come over they have a clause included in their contract that makes them a free agent once the original deal runs out, the team can not offer them arbitration.

I know there's a lot of people on here who enjoy Christian Bale's work, as I am definitely one of them. There's one movie that always seems to get over looked for some reason, Equilibrium. It's just a damn good action movie with some outstanding acting spliced in. I always found it to be more enjoyable than the Matrix due to there being some real acting going on in Equilibrium.

If he signs with the Rangers or Orioles the Sox would receive a sandwich (~30-50) and 2nd round pick (~50-70 [depending on how many sandwich pick there are]), there's top 15 protection.

The only reason I watch is to see Jim "choke breath" Thome fail in every clutch situation because he's overpaid and his face is stupid.

If Contreras is dealt I hope Floyd is giving the 5th starter's role for the rest of the season, completely uninterrupted. The Sox aren't going anywhere anyway. If he's terrible for the final 2 months of the season I'd probably be done with him.
