That's a good observation actually, the Blue Jays went as far as taking Vernon Wells off all their Christmas cards and leaving him off all promotional ads for the 2007 season. You'd figure the White Sox marketing department would have the foresight to leave questionable players off any promotional items.

I love listening to the Duke or whatever the f*** his name is on the ESPN updates during the Dan Patrick show. The man is either ridiculously clueless or the most bias human being alive (in more than 1 way.) When reporting this acquisition he rallied off Donnelly's stats over the past 5 years making this look like the BoSox are picking up an elite setupman. He failed to mention that the 36 year old Donnelly has been on the decline for the past 2.5 and was almost non-tendered by the Angels.

Finding a new 5th starter would be a much bigger whole than upgrading centerfield. If Buehrle is going to be traded the Sox had better be getting some great young talent back in return, not another soon to be big money boras client in his walk year.

Well according to Ken Rosenthal Vernon Wells is going to end up accepting the $126M contract extension the Blue Jays offered him. He'll get an opt out clause and a no-trade as well. This certainly is an interesting turn of events.

I'm confused as to why Page 2 is using an interview Will Leitch did when ESPN refuses to acknowledge the existence of Deadspin and other 'underground' blogs and what not. God I hate ESPN and their hypocritical ways.

Splits vs lefties: '04: .264/.350/.358/.708 | 121 PA '05: .198/.308/.267/.575 | 120 PA '06: .202/.298/.303/.601 | 104 PA I doubt however that Ozzie would be willing to only use him against lefties.

He REALLY doesn't want to stay in Canada, I really can't blame the guy for turning down that deal if the main reason for rejecting it is the team offering him the contract.
