QUOTE(chimpy2121 @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 09:30 PM) This is one of the more exciting low scoring games. I'm enjoying it. Defense rocks!

The Bears have found their future QB
- Benson had 3 carries and picked up 10 yards. Hard to say he impressed. Ultra small sample size. - Gage did nothing to impress me and I've been the biggest Gage apologist since we drafted him. Orton looked very good and he and Moose seemed to have some nice chemistry working. Honestly the D dissapointed me a little, the early 3rd downs they gave up pissed me off as well as how easily they were run on by Portis and Betts in the 2nd half, they may have been tire but they're going to have to get used to it with this defense.

QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 09:14 PM) He's a system QB, as Toledo makes a living out of throwing short, precise passes. True but I still like him, he's a 6-2 210 pound polish QB with a decent arm and decent legs. Most likely he wount amount to s*** but I just like the idea of a guy like him succeeding on the next level.

QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 09:08 PM) My goodness... On the Packers/Lions broadcast, they were talking about the Lions making a Superbowl in their hometown. Give me a f***ing break. They played decent against a team that played like s***. For all that their offense gets talked up, they scored 17 points. I'm sorry, but I hope Joey Harrington prepares to be on his back this next Sunday, 'cause that's what's gonna happen. Tommie Harris will wipe that smile off his face real quickly... If you watched the game, the Lions really didn't look all that good either, the Packers just looked like s***. Joey just couldn't seem to find any of those big recievers of his, with the exception of Roy. He seems to be pretty comfortable with Marcus Pollard but that's all about to change.

Oh yeah, I'm gonna say it right now. My sleeper for the '06 NFL Draft is Bruce Gradkowski QB from Toledo, he'll be the next successful NFL QB to come out of the MAC, comming right off the shoe laces of Charlie Fry of course.

QUOTE(SoxFanForever @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 08:40 PM) Pack looked really sloppy today. For once, we didn't have to worry about the D and the O didn't show up. Thanks Mike Sherman for not even giving Ahman Green 15 f***ing carries you moron. I made something for you

I want the Bears D to play like this Ravens D, just in the way they play with so much passion and enthusiasm. It's f***ing unbelievable watching Ray Lews, Suggs and Ed Reed running all over the place destroying people and then going insane. I want that in our Chicago team.

Simpsons/Family Guy/American Dad Season Premiers
QUOTE(SnB @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 08:27 PM) That was probably the best "new" family guy i've seen. Ravens Vs Colts, I'd say is much more entertaining.

I don't see Vince Young making it through the rest of this season healthy. He got the piss beat out of him against a very good OSU defense and if he continues to run like he's currently doing, he's going to take a seriously beating from other teams as well. Hell, near the end of the OSU game he was feeling dizzy from all the hits he had taken, I see him getting a concussion or other serious injury somewhere around game 6 or 7. That can't help his NFL status.

D'Brickashaw Ferguson LT, will be a top 3 pick next season. He'd look aweful good in a Bears uni.

Someone reassure me
QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 06:14 PM) ...or maybe it's that all these so called 'positive believers' aren't really believing. It's kinda like "yeah, we know this team will have it tough in the post season, but we don't want to hear it" AKA: denial. Who are these ultra positive, full of denial posters that you speak of? For some reason I can't think of any regular/longtime posters that fit the bill.

I just don't understand how people could consider losing one of the best WR of all time an upgrade to the team. Minnesota will struggle without Moss, he's quite possibly the most skilled reciever in the history of the NFL and anytime you lose a player like that, no matter how big of an asshole he is, you're going to be a little worse on offense.

Simpsons/Family Guy/American Dad Season Premiers
QUOTE(rangercal @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 05:33 PM) Family Guy >>>>>>>> American Dad >> Current Simpsons Agreed. Except I'd throw in a few more > in front of American Dad and a few thousand more in front of The Simpsons.

Simpsons/Family Guy/American Dad Season Premiers
The Simpsons: :puke :puke :puke I refuse to watch this piece of s*** show that they claim is The Simpsons. In my mind the show has been dead for atleast 4 years now. Family Guy should be good, though it's just not the same as the old episodes, it's still watchable. American Dad is alright. It's nowhere near Family Guy but it still remains watchable.

Bears vs. Redskins 9/11 Game Thread
QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 05:18 PM) I'm not talking about a single play. I'm talking about throughout the game. And then you're wrong again. You said Tillman had Moss the whole game when in fact Azumah had him man-on-man a few times when Moss was put in the slot. Azumah didn't look good today, it seems he's not fully back from his hip surgery.

Bears vs. Redskins 9/11 Game Thread
QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 05:06 PM) Not eaten alive. Just eaten. And Azumah got burned by Thrash today, not Moss. Tillman was on Moss throughout the whole game. WRONG. It was Azumah he beat. Moss set up in the slot on the right side, Azumah who was playing nickle today took him. Azumah was playing man coverage on Moss and never turned around to find the ball. Which resulted in a 52 yard completion. So Moss beat Azumah not Tillman.

NFL Rankings
QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 09:54 AM) Ok more rankings, Bears at 29 from FoxSports; http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/4802386 While in 10 bold predictions from the same site (Adam Schein), it says Julius Jones will lead the NFL in rushing and Kyle Orton will have more wins than Brett Favre; http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/4824606 He also has the Cowboys at 23 and had them at 27 last week.
