  1. QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Feb 13, 2005 -> 04:40 PM) I think this Mike Williams to the BEars thing is highly unlikely and really just fan site talk. I think I'd say that Braylon is three timse more likely than Mike to be taken. That said, it should surprise no one in CHicago if they trade down or draft more defense. The Bears will not draft a defensive player with the 4th pick. Mike Williams will be drafted by the Bears if he kicks ass in the combine. Braylon Edwards right now is the Bears pick but only for now and only because of Mike Williams high 40 time. The Bears could very well trade down and pick up a few more picks, just because Angelo loves getting as many players as he can out of a draft. I think it is more likely that the Bears keep the #4 pick. As of right now the Bears will draft a WR with the 4th pick in the draft.
  2. Another great player is retiring. Emmitt Smith, Reggie Miller, Karl Malone, Barry Larkin possibly Brett Favre (even though I doubt it.) It's been quite a year for all-time greats stepping away from the game.
  3. Chandler had 11 rebounds, 2 blocks but 0 points. I'll take it!
  4. Ben Gordon: min: 28 fgm/a: 7/18 reb: 8 ast: 3 pts: 21 he won it for the Bulls down the stretch.
  5. The old version is badass with the imagration papers the second one is even better. Good ass job.
  6. QUOTE(knightni @ Feb 13, 2005 -> 12:22 PM) Pippen was a hell of a SF as well. Pippen was actually more of a point guard with SF size. He's that odd one three combination.
  7. QUOTE(Soxnbears01 @ Feb 13, 2005 -> 12:20 AM) they got illini fever too? What Else would orange curtains meen?
  8. QUOTE(silver and black @ Feb 12, 2005 -> 08:26 PM) im not mad... had a feeling you weren't.
  9. I thought you were on vacation. Let me know when you're tired of hearing this.
  10. About 13 games this year, got the minnie package but I think I'll catch more than that. Its a nice trek from the burbs.
  11. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2004 @ Feb 12, 2005 -> 12:51 AM) Malone DIDN'T have a better season than Jordan that year. He had a great season, no doubt about that, but his 97 season was no different than any of his other years before that. The difference was the Jazz had the best record in the west that year. That was basically a sentimental mvp for Malone. They couldn't give it to Michael every year, even though he was the mvp and best player. The post-season more than proved that. Thank you, you proved my point perfectly. That was Jordan's MVP in '97.
  12. QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Feb 12, 2005 -> 12:15 AM) The one thing I would do is move the Blue Jays to Las Vegas... There are too many teams in the AL East and not enough in the AL West... Plus Canada has proven they don't deserve a baseball team. Hell one down one to go. We got the Expos out of Montreal now all we gotta do is get Toronto out. We must eliminate Canada from Major League Baseball. Las Vegas probably would be the best place for the Blue Jays. The Las Vegas Blue Jays
  13. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Feb 11, 2005 -> 09:58 PM) 96-97 Stats Pts Rebs Asts Stls Blks Jordan 29.6 5.90 4.3 1.71 .54 Malone 27.4 9.90 4.5 1.38 .59 I love how you threw blocks in there, like Jordan is supposed to have more than Malone, maybe you should try FT% or 3pt%. Who won the NBA Championship that year? Oh ya, and who missed the free throws at the end of game one in the finals that year- Malone and who had the game winning shot- Jordan.
  14. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Feb 11, 2005 -> 09:45 PM) Malone was better than Barkely. Period. Good point, I never looked at it that way before.
  15. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Feb 11, 2005 -> 09:37 PM) lol Barkley wasn't even 6'6". Who gives a s*** how tall he was, he palyed PF and was ultra dominate. That's what makes him so great, he overcame his height and played better than any other PF.
  16. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Feb 11, 2005 -> 09:38 PM) and also it's not his fault he was selected as the MVP. It doesn't matter who's fault it was it matters that IMHO Michael Jordan was more valuable than Karl Malone in that particular season.
  17. QUOTE(Yoda @ Feb 11, 2005 -> 09:41 PM) Shouldn't this Nascar thread be in the SLaP forum? BURN!!

    Puppies killed...

    QUOTE(Tadahito Iguchi 15 @ Feb 11, 2005 -> 09:39 PM) For some reason, I find it worse to hear when animals die than when people die... I feel the exact same way. You get used to hearing about people diying but when I here a dog was abused or killed I just get insane.
  19. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Feb 11, 2005 -> 09:37 PM) Yea, I love brawls. I would give anything for a brawl between the Twins n Sox. I want us to finally show some fire. Remember our last big brawl? 2000 against the Tigers helped us win the division. f*** Robert Fick.
  20. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Feb 11, 2005 -> 09:30 PM) Wow, just because he was MVP and Jordan wasn't has to do with why you don't like him. I think Jordan has enough stuff, he can share the wealth a bit. I think that's a damn good reason to not like him, Jordan doesn't have to share s*** with Karl Malone. Barkley was a better PF anyway.
  21. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Feb 11, 2005 -> 09:26 PM) You'd think Malone would trade that for a championship? You know he would.
  22. f*** him, he stole the MVP from Jordan in 96'-97'. That's right I know how to hold a grudge.
