  1. More of the same for the scrubs.............and I love it! :fthecubs
  2. QUOTE(fathom @ Oct 5, 2007 -> 09:49 PM) Contrary to what we've heard for a few years now, the Diamondbacks were willing to do the Vazquez trade for Anderson instead of Chris Young. Looks like KW made a very costly error in talent evaluation, especially with how quickly we then gave up on Anderson. http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...-home-headlines Rogers is a piece of work with the Cubs down 0-2, how can I have the Sox look bad.
  3. QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Oct 5, 2007 -> 02:16 PM) Stick Cora back at third and hire a competent bench coach. I would dump Cora also.
  4. No suprise to me with Bor-ASS wanting 20 mil to start and Braves paying Texiara that money makes alot more sense to me
  5. Breaking News: John Cena Out 6-8 Months Story posted by Ryan Clark on October 02, 2007 The following is from WWE.com. BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – WWE Champion John Cena has suffered a complete tear of his right pectoral tendon and is heading into surgery, according to noted orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews. Because of the seriousness of the injury, WWE officials will not allow Cena to compete this Sunday at No Mercy, and he will have no choice but to surrender the title. Dr. Andrews said Cena could miss between six and eight months of action. Cena was injured during his match Monday night on Raw with Mr. Kennedy. Before visiting Dr. Andrews, Cena had said, “No matter how serious, the injury, one way or another I’ll be ready to compete on Sunday.” But despite Cena’s vow, WWE officials will not allow him to compete at No Mercy. Therefore, he must surrender the WWE Championship. WWE officials vow that there will be a WWE Championship Match this Sunday at No Mercy and a new WWE Champion will be crowned. Anybody else see HHH winning the belt on Sunday?
  6. From Sun-Times 10-2-07 Ken Williams is not always the easiest person to read. When asked about the seemingly monumental task of turning a 90-loss team back into a contender in just four months, the White Sox general manager displayed a coolness not seen since Billy Dee Williams was doing Colt 45 commercials. ''Not as busy as one may think for a fourth-place club,'' Williams said of his upcoming winter. Team played terrible in 2007 and he starts by saying he might not be that busy? KW do not let your smugness get the best of you AGAIN!
  7. It is legit he is going to see Dr. James Andrews today looks like a pectoral tear. Hail Orton in a quick match at No Mercy for the belt.
  8. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Sep 30, 2007 -> 05:29 PM) How does the offense get a C? There were more C grades than anything else to me when averaged.
  9. They will draft the most signable guy...................PERIOD!
  10. Batting C Starting Pitching B- Bullpen F..... (Jenks) B+ KW F-.....(Totally handcuffed team with terrible move after move. Talks a big game ONLY) OG D+.. (Still cannot manage a bullpen very well and tirades have pretty much run there course) Fans Support A+..( Great job in showing up again. DO NOT want to hear any financial restraint issues by JR or KW)
  11. Typical KW talk, until it is nut cutting time then we get the old economic excuse answer! Just shut up and go do your job not always just talk about it!
  12. Myers does NOT help this team at all in 2008............. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Williams do your dam job this winter or go. 2008 cannot be wasted like 2007 KW!
  14. I have NEVER and will NEVER root for a Sox loss!
  15. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Sep 29, 2007 -> 04:51 PM) Love to hear the logic on this one, at least from the standpoint of AJ resigning... Reported riff between AJ and JG when he pitched at times.
  16. I like it guess this means JG is history this winter.
  17. Here's the White Sox's tentative 2008 home schedule. I stress that this is tentative, but in a season like 2007, there's nothing wrong with looking ahead to next year: April 7-10: MINNESOTA April 11-13: DETROIT April 14-15: OAKLAND April 22-24: NEW YORK YANKEES April 25-28: BALTIMORE May 6-8: MINNESOTA May 20-22: CLEVELAND May 23-25: LOS ANGELES ANGELS June 3-5: KANSAS CITY June 6-8: MINNESOTA June 13-15: COLORADO June 17-19: PITTSBURGH June 27-29: CHICAGO CUBS June 30-July 2: CLEVELAND July 3-6: OAKLAND July 18-20: KANSAS CITY July 21-23: TEXAS August 5-7: DETROIT August 8-11: BOSTON August 12-14: KANSAS CITY August 18-20: SEATTLE August 22-24: TAMPA BAY September 5-7: LOS ANGELES ANGELS September 8-11: TORONTO September 12-14: DETROIT September 26-28: CLEVELAND What a terrible draw in Colorado and Pittsburgh for interleague play this has to be the worst in MLB. How many years in a row are we playing the Pirates. JR go ahead a charge your great premium seat charge for those games good luck!
  18. QUOTE(SoxAce @ Sep 26, 2007 -> 09:28 PM) Way to increase that trade value Jon. Exactly goodbye JG
  19. I hope nobody signs him and he is short on 3000 hit club he will want 18 mil and price himself out of a job, the jerk deserves it!
  20. My condolences to the family with that said, He was a PATHETIC owner who never got out of the 1960's mentality and as a result his hockey team has been non existent for 15 years. I hope his sons have more sense on issues than Dollar Bill did!
