As you well know by now, WWE made significant (if not unexpected) talent cuts last week by releasing eleven on-screen talents from their contracts. According to WrestleZone, this is part of an ongoing effort to cut about $20 million from the company's operating budget for this year. Previous reports and statements by WWE have indicated that they will take a loss due to the WWE Network and other elements, and this would lead into the company's cost-cutting measures. In addition to the talent cuts, the company is cutting out some production elements such as Fandango's golden curtain entrance and the lift that Bad News Barrett used. With the company now able to take the truck used to transport those entrances off the road, they have saved about $250,000. Fandango entrance low budget tonight.

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Jun 15, 2014 -> 07:20 AM) The USPS was a once useful business in which progress/technology has surpassed. That's not to say it's not still useful, but it's not needed anywhere near 6, 5 or even 4 days a week anymore. Anyone that claims they trust the USPS to deliver their packages over UPS or FedEX is, IMO, a liar. Their service degraded because they hired a lot of really s***ty workers that didn't give a f*** about their job (and that's not to say UPS or FedEX don't have their share of such people, too.) I've had more packages lost by the USPS I can't even count, and it's safe to say their customer service is worse than Comcast's -- which is quite a feat of strength. When I see someones shipping through USPS off of Amazon (or other online retailers), I try to find a vendor that sells the same product that doesn't...for reasons. Honestly, they could take this "essential service" down to one day a week and I wouldn't care, that'd be 5 less days I have junk mail delivered to me -- because that's pretty much all the USPS delivers these days. I do agree with your final sentence, however...but isn't that how our governments been working for decades now? FYI.............UPS and Fed EX drop off 35% of there total volume packages at post office for final delivery every day and number is climbing higher every year under the last mile program. The dirty little secret is you pay the extra money at UPS and FED EX but there is a 1 in 3 chance they do not even deliver it the USPS does. 95% of customers have no idea this is happening, so finding a vendor that ships UPS or FED EX through a online vendor guarantees you nothing on final delivery.

Royals vs White Sox
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 15, 2014 -> 01:15 PM) This pitching staff is horrible. Rienzo not long for this rotation. There is not a lot of talent on this roster. Sox may be 10 under .500 before next road trip is over.

Royals vs White Sox
QUOTE (soxfan49 @ Jun 15, 2014 -> 01:19 PM) I'm not sure if this was touched on in another thread, but the worst part of this is that there aren't any great trade chips on this team. Danks would have to have a great July, but I'm not banking on that. I'm not sure if any team would give up a hell of a lot for Dunn. Gillaspie could net a mediocre haul. The only guy would be Sale, and he's not going anywhere. Nobody is taking Danks contract.

Royals vs White Sox
QUOTE (soxfan49 @ Jun 15, 2014 -> 01:15 PM) Ok, enough is enough with Andre Rienzo. KC 2-0 another lost weekend like at Angels. Rienzo rolling everything leaving it up. You cannot win with Noesi and Rienzo in rotation..............KC has won last 9 of 10 in Chicago.

They can't lower the bar any farther. There has to be copies to who they sent emails to. The Obooooma administration the worst I have ever seen top to bottom.

The word in WWE is that "Macho Man" Randy Savage is closer than ever to getting inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. The company is currently working on a new DVD/Blu-ray release for Savage, including a full documentary with participation from his brother "Leapin'" Lanny Poffo (aka The Genius). The current line-up for the 2015 Hall of Fame is Savage, The Rock, Kevin Nash, Rikishi and for the annual Divas pick, either Victoria or Mickie James. Per 411wrestling Sounds awesome new dvd set, I loved the first one just wish he was alive to get his due.

Tyler Flowers isn't very good
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jun 14, 2014 -> 06:00 PM) Nieto's k rate is actually quite similar to Tyler's. Chances are more exposure will lead to some really poor results. The kid is a special circumstance in over his head. There is zero reason to throw more on his plate unless you are trying to make him fail. Flowers has been over his head 90% of the time.

Tyler Flowers isn't very good
QUOTE (chisoxfan310 @ Jun 14, 2014 -> 05:55 PM) I completely agree with Nieto being given a shot to start. That way we can at least figure out what we have at the end of the season. It is time to try Nieto everyone knows what Sox have in Flowers and it is not good.

QUOTE (oldsox @ Jun 14, 2014 -> 03:31 PM) Your poor grammar aside, aren't you exaggerating just a bit? You LOVE Paulina? Not like, not understand, but you LOVE the Paulina signing? You LOVE Mitch Boggs? Not like, not understand, but you LOVE the Boggs signing? You LOVE the Davidson trade? You LOVE the Sierra signing? You LOVE de Aza? De Aza was not Hahn, it was KW that brought him in.

Sox vs. Royals, Game 2, 1:10 PM CT
QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 14, 2014 -> 04:09 PM) They don't seem interested in that. I could see more Cuba signings however. The Royals have been horses*** all year prior to this 10-4 stretch. We stand no chance against THIS Royals team. Forget tomorrow. Shields 3 hitter. Shields was the game of this series I thought would be the loss.
