  1. the way the announcers have been bragging about our bullpen, I'm not surprised Thornton gives up the go ahead run.
  2. there ya go Andruw. I'm finally getting used to putting a U in the name too.
  3. "Infield in adds 100 points to the hiller's average", very interesting.
  4. for once I'm happy to see a swinging bunt from Pierre.
  5. QUOTE (WilliamTell @ Apr 17, 2010 -> 04:28 PM) come on Lexi, hit the ball to the right side, that pitch was outside. nevermind I'll take a double. it's been a good 10 minutes for Alexei.

  7. runner at 2nd with no outs, and we can't advance him any bases.
  8. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 17, 2010 -> 03:41 PM) Nice hit by Rios. Better do a hit-and-run to avoid the DP. with our luck we'd probably line out and get doubled off.
  9. should've only been a double, what is going on in this game, hard hits galore.
  10. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 15, 2010 -> 06:38 PM) I had high hopes for Mike Morse to be a modern day Paco Martin. Haha. Actually, he was the one who ended up having a longer career in the majors with the M's than Olivo. They really soured on Miguel quickly. Haven't had much luck there with catchers, Ben Davis, Johjima, etc. Oh Ben Davis, don't remind me of him and the fiasco he brought.
  11. Dangit Lucy, you just dropped .167 points on your average! Terrible!
  12. QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Apr 15, 2010 -> 06:34 PM) I think most people liked the trade, but just a lot of us had an attachment to Olivo was hard to see him go. I remember many being for and against it. It sucked for Olivo because he didn't want to go. A lot of us thought Jeremy Reed was going to be a stud too.
  13. Soxtalk was in shambles when Jeremy Reed and Miguel Olivo were traded for Freddie Garcia.
  14. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 15, 2010 -> 01:32 AM) Not very many. It's amazing to think we got one of the select few for Joe Borchard. that was Borchard's greatest achievement for us, second was that near 500 foot blast he hit.
  15. Score as many runs as possible every game. I'm not a big believer on using all your runs in one game and then not scoring much the next few games. Even though it seems it happen a lot with the Sox.
