  1. I'm getting tired of hearing all of these records JJ's breaking.
  2. QUOTE(samclemens @ Mar 12, 2006 -> 08:07 AM) its about time that the "51st state" got in line. just kidding... seriously, i am glad about this. we need all the allies we can get right now. canada is pretty important to our country. We wanted them to be the 14th colony, but anyways great job Canada.
  3. Today and yesterday are the only two times where I've actually seen BC play, I'm very impressed with them.
  4. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Mar 12, 2006 -> 09:21 AM) I know it's kind of out of the blue, but I don't think Michigan has any chance at the tournament now. With the way the weekend has played out across the nation and Michigan's play down the stretch, I just don't see them getting in. I wish it weren't the case though; I love seeing the Big Ten repped well in the tournament. For some reason I think Michigan will make the tournament. Maybe it's wishful thinking, I don't know. But anyways, Go Hawks!
  5. I always liked his name, Slobodan, but that's about it.
  6. That would be terrible if something does happen.
  7. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Mar 12, 2006 -> 12:52 AM) You miss Boog, admit it. Haha I miss hearing what he'd have to say after winning the World Series. Does he even post there anymore?
  8. Welcome aboard, I was once a poster of the ESPN boards, but this place is a lot better.
  9. haha I didn't even notice it was gone. I'm still used to the old ways.
  10. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Mar 8, 2006 -> 10:17 PM) I'm sure if I am wrong, I'll be told as much by all the people that didn't have the cajones to step up now. I'll be getting that too, for backing up Gonzaga anyways.
  11. I like him, kinda sad to hear, but I trust Ozzie on this one.
  12. QUOTE(southsideirish @ Mar 7, 2006 -> 03:57 PM) I understand that this is funny and others don't care and that it isn't an issue. But, the others are right. King/Queen is a gender issue. It is not a gay/straight issue. Even if she is lesbian she can't be a king. She still has to be a queen. Sounds like whoever nominated her did it as either a joke, or they are a bunch of retards. Possibly both. Yeah I agree here, no man should be queen and no woman should be king, it's a gender deal.
  13. QUOTE(Jimbo's Drinker @ Mar 7, 2006 -> 04:22 PM) NEITHER Reddick can not elbow people in the nuts in the NBA, and Morrison can no longer flop and cry. Vlade Divac did a lot of flopping and crying in his day.
  14. QUOTE(q\/\/3r+y @ Mar 7, 2006 -> 03:25 PM) Fourth one? Good luck. Closest to a fourth one you are gonna get is the wolverine movie in 2007. Yeah, they've already said this is expected to be the last X-Men movie. Kinda sad to me.
  15. QUOTE(Mplssoxfan @ Mar 6, 2006 -> 10:28 PM) Wow. I've lived in Minneapolis for a long time, so I've gotten to see a lot of Puckett. The man always hustled; it didn't matter if the playoffs were out of reach or it was the heat of the race, he never cheated the game or the fans. He was a funny guy, too. He bet Bob Costas that if he was hitting .350 when Costas' kid was born, he had to name him Kirby. Costas' son is named Keith Michael Kirby Costas. As for his post-career life, I would add to Rex's comments that Kirby not only had the issues of adjusting to life after baseball, but he had the last 4 or 5 seasons of his career stolen from him by a cruel twist of fate. That had to be doubly hard to deal with. RIP, man. I remember watching that game against the Indians, poor Dennis Martinez hit him. I now wonder what Kirby would've been like had he played a whole career instead of his 12 years.
  16. I'm looking forward to seeing the movie aswell, sadly I can't watch this trailer though because my computer sucks.
