I guess it's a good sign. Has there been anything about him with steriods, didn't he have like 44 homers in one year and hasn't had another huge homer season besides 28 a couple of years later.

I'm so speechless right now I don't even know what to say. His death hits me very hard, I know what it's like to lose a favorite athlete, that happened with Derrick Thomas in 2000. You grow up thinking your heroes are unstopable or inmortal, but that's not the case. I was already thinking about going to the opening game for the Twins against the A's. Now I'm really going to try to go to it and if I do, I'll go to the back of my closet and bust out my very, very old Minnesota Twins hat one more time for Kirby.

8 years? Wow.

I remember going to my first baseball game up in the Metrodome in 1992. The Twins were playing the Royals and we were on the 3rd base side and when Kirby walked by, every kid around started saying it's Kirby and Kirby being the nice guy he is gave waves and such. That was probably the coolest thing I've ever seen a player do in games I've gone to.

Let's see a win finally.

They find a way to win, I don't care who play, Gonzaga plays down to people, but they also play up to people. Plus Gonzaga won't get a #1 seed anyways so this will not happen.
