  1. San Diego state could pull if off, Steve Fisher knows how to coach in the tournament.
  2. QUOTE(AbeFroman @ Mar 13, 2006 -> 01:51 PM) I think our utility infield is still better than the starting infield for the royals. i feel pretty good about all three guys. I can't wait for all the speculation to end though... lets get to baseball lol that's a bad sign for them.
  3. I'm glad to read this, it's a little late, but the saying is better late than never.
  4. That's too bad, can't wait for the new season though.
  5. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Mar 13, 2006 -> 11:26 AM) So I caught Jay Bilas making his picks for this bracket on ESPN this mornin...interestingly, he didn't have a single upset in the entire bracket. Everything followed the numbers exactly. :banghead He's not very ambitious but if he picks the Final Game right then he'll have a very good bracket. Obviously there will be upsets but chances are the bracket will go more accordingly towards the favorites than the upsets.
  6. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Mar 13, 2006 -> 11:22 AM) Those bubble teams would be tired as hell. They'd never have a shot. Some would have byes for the first game so each team would only play 1-2 games plus I'd give them a week off between. This thing could get done in 5 days.
  7. QUOTE(thedoctor @ Mar 13, 2006 -> 10:39 AM) no vaseline. lol
  8. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Mar 13, 2006 -> 09:59 AM) Which is why if they go to the FF, I wouldn't be surprised. They have a lot tougher road than people think though. I wouldn't be surprised if they go to the Final Four either, I have Kansas and UCLA going to the Elite 8 coming out of Oakland.
  9. Very interesting stats. I assume this would be the bracket with the most championships.
  10. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Mar 12, 2006 -> 06:16 PM) Iowa got jacked. This is a strong ass portion. West Virginia, a quick Northwestern State Team; Saluki's are under-rated. Of course NC State on the other part as a 10 is a joke. They are better than that. Texas is in my mind the best #2 out there (sorry I'd much rather be playing OSU than Texas). Iowa's really going to have to step up, they got a tough ass draw. No kidding, the midwest always gets disrespected. This Iowa team is the best I've seen in a long time and I'd love to see them make it to the Sweet 16 and then some, but it's going to be so hard to do that.
  11. I know this would never happen, but it'd save a lot of problems for the selection commitee. I believe the NCAA owns the NIT tournament now and I think it'd be cool if the selection commitee picked the top 48 schools and put them in the NCAA tournament, leaving 16 open spots and then put all of the bubble teams and then some in the NIT tournament fighting for the last 16 spots. I know it won't happen because college basketball woudln't want to wait for 1-2 weeks to get the cames played by the NIT but I think it'd be fun to do.
  12. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Mar 13, 2006 -> 12:49 AM) That makes two of us. As of now that makes three of us. I'm teetering back and forth with Ohio State though.
  13. Go UNI Panthers, we need a miracle though, haha.
  14. I like seeing these older coaches out there. But it looks like another one will retire, best of luck to you after retirement.
  15. QUOTE(Confederate_48 @ Mar 13, 2006 -> 05:55 AM) I cant stand how the Hendrick cars float around the back of the top 10 untill the end. They get my hopes up that they wont finish well then they all rush to the top 5. Yeah I know what you mean, can we get a race where none of them finish in the top 5.
  16. There wasn't a gun in his pillow case was there? haha I just had to say it.
  17. Crazy weather, you never expect to have tornadoes in March.
  18. That would suck dying on the day they were retiring your number.
  19. I shall enter aswell. I'll be doing 3 or 4 brackets this year and I'm sure all of them will be different.
