  1. Send him to KC, we could use a receiver. lol only if that'd happen.
  2. QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ Nov 7, 2005 -> 10:01 PM) Haha, we were talking about this in foreign policy today. We just finished studying the Barbary Pirates a few weeks ago so it was ironic to see it still happening today. We just studied the Barbary Pirates aswell a few weeks back.
  3. I would've rather seen Cano win it, but not surprised about the outcome.
  4. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Nov 7, 2005 -> 12:29 PM) Anthony Thomas isn't playing at all. He was released by the Cowboys and is currently without a team. That would explain why he's only played 6 games this year wouldn't it.
  5. How about you lose a game Colts. Titans maybe???? haha.
  6. QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Nov 7, 2005 -> 01:30 AM) Thomas did rush for 1,000 yards a couple of times. Yeah he has twice, but now he's hardly even playing so that why I put him with the other two running backs. I'd say he's had the better pro career out of the 3 though.
  7. QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Nov 6, 2005 -> 08:45 PM) i remember. He not only was a conerback but he was used at Wide Receiver and returned kicks I remember watching the Ohio State game in which he pretty much dominated. It has been sort of disappointing to see a lot of Michigan players be busts in the NFL. Bust is probably to strong a word however disappointing is something you could use for Woodson. It is sad to see that there has been only one legit superstar in the last 10 years to come out of Michigan in Tom Brady. On the positive Chris Perry, Braylon Edwards, and Marlon Jackson all look like they will be good players. Cato June is establishing himself as a very good linebacker. However I was/am very dissapointed in Tyrone Wheatley, Tim Biakabutuka, and Anthony Thomas.
  8. QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Nov 6, 2005 -> 08:21 PM) Fred Taylor is a better player than Charles Woodson. I never said Fred Taylor wasn't a better player. I said Charles Woodson was the 2nd best player taken in the top 5 and was one of four players that weren't busts in the top 10.
  9. If he can pull off King Kong like he pulled off The Lord of the Rings, he's got to be considered one of the best directors if not already. lol the only problem is I forgot his name. Isn't his last name Jackson?
  10. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Nov 6, 2005 -> 02:46 PM) It's hard to imagine Topher Grace being Venom, but hopefully they do it. From what I understand, this is the last Spiderman. No!!! They have to do Venom before they're done making this series. I really hope they do a 4th one then.
  11. OK thanks, I knew Thome and Delgado. I guess it's just hard for me to invision them in Sox uniforms, I should've known the others though.
  12. Call me stupid but I'm not sure who all of them are. I need the names, haha.
  13. QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Nov 6, 2005 -> 11:39 AM) considering he was what the no.1 pick you would expect a lot more from him. He has been a solid player but not great. Wasn't Peyton Manning the 1st pick? Woodson won the Heisman and that has nothing to do with pro potential. EDIT:Yes Peyton Manning was picked first, follwed by Ryan Leaf (bust), Andre Wadsworth (considering I don't know if he's playing, bust), then Charles Woodson at 4th and to fill out the top five, Curtis Enis (bust.) So there are 3 players in the top 5 that can be considered busts before Charles Woodson and the only other players in the top 10 that have had a good career are Kyle Turley at the 7th pick if you want to call that a good career and Fred Taylor at the 9th pick.
  14. Yeah we had a double header against a high school team and won 11-0 and 24-1 when all of our bench players were playing. In high school basketball last year, a couple of area teams played eachother and the score was like 118-12, the second worst point spread in Iowa high school basketball history and I'll have to look this one up, but I think the biggest was like 155-2 or something.
  15. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Nov 6, 2005 -> 04:31 PM) Or not. Yep, I was wrong............again.
  16. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Nov 6, 2005 -> 04:27 PM) I'm pretty sure there was time left when LJ crossed the goal line. Oh well. Yeah there should've been at least 2 seconds on the clock. But the Chiefs were trying to call time out when LJ had that long run when there was like 8 seconds left, not 5. So a bad clock all around.
  17. QUOTE(Benchwarmerjim @ Nov 4, 2005 -> 09:40 PM) I wish Thome wasnt a threat to be injured everytime he swings the bat when he was in Cleveland, he ate up teh twins when he played at Metrodome. that right field porch suits him Yeah and I'd prefere not to see him in a Twins uniform.
  18. And this is why I never pick the Chiefs to win. Everytime I actually do, like today, they lose.
  19. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Nov 5, 2005 -> 05:26 PM) Not to mention that Republicans have a massive edge in money. Democrats are going to be the minority party for a long long time and rightfully so. :headbang
  20. It'll be a tall order for the Democrats to regain control in either. For Senators the Republicans have 55, the Democrats have 44, basically 45. For Congress the Republicans have 229 and the Democrats have 204 I think.
  21. Very sad indeed. Boxing is a dangerous sport, not saying that boxing was the reason it happened, but I'm sure it didn't help any. The boxer I worry about getting something one of these days is Evandor Holyfield.
  22. Illinois has to cover that 34 point spread, don't they.? I was shocked to see it that high.
