  1. Hunter's a great fielder but he doesn't deserve to win it if he missed almost half the year.
  2. All I know is all the rumors really racked up to total post counts for this website.
  3. The Jazz will improve from last year. My word was that terrible. I don't think they'll make the playoffs, they'll finish 9th or 10th in the conference I believe. The power is starting to shift back over to the East, but the West is still the premiere conference. I have to go with the Heat and Spurs making it to the finals, just like a lot of people.

QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ Nov 1, 2005 -> 05:06 PM) http://www.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS/11/01/sen...q.ap/index.html If the rest of the Republicans go for their soother as quick as Fristy does then the Democrats in a continual attack mode should have no problem getting back into power. Democrats regaining power? I'll believe it when I see it. It's been going the complete opposite the past couple of elections. But I do think the Democrats should gain back some members in Congress in 2006.
  5. I don't think getting Griffey makes sense either. I was just stating how it's funny that Griffey got forgotten in an instant.
  6. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 12:30 AM) Next year...now that the world has been introduced to the other guy who can win a world series by diving into the stands. No question about it, there will be a spotlight on Uribe next year.
  7. Did anyone else basically forgot about this? When the Sox started to get into their slump in late August through September I put the Griffey rumor behind. Once they clinched the division and went through out the playoffs, I never even once thought about the rumor. It's just kinda crazy to look bad only 3 months ago how much this website was talking about the rumor.
  8. I'll always be a fan of Olivo, but he won't be coming back here.
  9. Congrats to Carlos. Good job!
  10. As in buy it on the Chicago Tribune website or something.

    $2.11 in Mason City, Iowa.
  12. Is there a way to buy a Thursday Chicago Tribune paper that'd have the White Sox World Series winner on it?
  13. I'm sad that the season is over because the Chiefs probably won't make the playoffs, the Jazz are going to have a long basketball season, and Michigan probably won't be going to any big bowl. I can't wait until spring training again.
  14. I honestly don't remember if I said trade Joe for Vinny, but I never thought this time was going to win the World Series let alone make the playoffs.
  15. Yep, the Bucks got better by picking up Magloire. I have doubts in Bogut right now.

Yeah, what is NBA Live 2006 like?
  17. lol all of mine were the same, infront of the upstairs tv.
  18. If the Cubs win it, I'll stop watching baseball just because I'm positive they won't win it unless something is rigged. I wouldn't say the White Sox and Red Sox were rigged because I don't believe that. I would however know for a fact that the White Sox championship would be easily forgotten for the average Chicago person.
  19. QUOTE(EvilMonkey @ Oct 26, 2005 -> 07:09 PM) You might be the RESULT of a few hippies, but you are not a hippie. lol that was good.
  20. lol my favorite Herbert Perry moment was when he hit a triple and was rounding 2nd, looked terribly out of breath then almost triped but finally made it to 3rd. It would've been on WGN but it was funny.
  21. And the Bears are the lone winner in the NFC North today.
  22. That was awesome. Congrats to the Bears.
