This thread only for optimists
Let's face it, if we were going to win the World Series, we weren't going to go undefeated, that's just practically impossible. Tomorrow should be a better performance.

2 runs on Paul F'IN Bryd
As poor as we played, at least we were in the game the whole time. That has to count for something, obviously not a win but I don't think tomorrow can get much worse, or can it?

Did Jermaine Die?
ok time to get hot Dye. We all know it's easier said than done though.

Amare Stoudemire

Los Angeles @ Chicago - ALCS Game 1
I'm sure this has already been posted but before tonight, the Angels were 0-5 in Game 1's but 4-1 in playoff series since 2002. Not saying it's over because it certainly isn't but the Sox have some work to do.

Los Angeles @ Chicago - ALCS Game 1
Once again I won't be able to see the game. Conflict after conflict. Go Sox!

Cub fans support the pale hose in style
lol I love the bi-sox-ual part. Funny stuff.

Jermaine Dye to 1B
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Oct 10, 2005 -> 11:00 PM) Mainly because Casey plays 1B the majority of the time and Dunn is out in LF/RF. Yeah there you go, I forgot about Sean Casey.

Jermaine Dye to 1B
QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Oct 10, 2005 -> 10:51 PM) learning this new bit of information I am all for letting Pauly go as well as Carla.. Use that money to sign H matsui stick him at DH have Anderson play RF and Dye plays 1b.. Lineup LF Pods 2b Guchi CF Rowand DH Matsui 1b Dye C AJ RF Anderson 3b Crede SS Uribe So.. Lets here how this is bad idea... I wouldn't call it a bad idea but I would rather have Konerko than Matsui.

Jermaine Dye to 1B
Giambi had some DH homeruns which I think that's what they're going for, but I don't know why Dunn isn't in it.

Los Angeles @ Chicago - ALCS Game 1
Los Angeles vs Chicago, can't get any better. Let's win the American League.

Around the horn
This is just typical East coast bias.
-
Houston vs. Atlanta
That hurts real bad for the Braves. But in a way the Braves made it 5 games.
-
Michigan
I'm almost wondering if 7-4 is too high of a win count now. This team could easily go under .500 which is a scary thought for Michigan fans.
-
Houston vs. Atlanta
lol can someone win this game?

Jermaine Dye to 1B
QUOTE(fathom @ Oct 9, 2005 -> 05:09 PM) Yep, for 18 million a season Oh I don't think it'll be that high, will it?
-
Jermaine Dye to 1B
Hopefully Konerko is resigned so we don't have to even think about this topic.

NFL Viewing Preference
QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Oct 9, 2005 -> 04:54 PM) So CBS looks a lot better than Fox in High Definition? Because I just have a regular TV and CBS looks like s*** compared to Fox on that. Yeah I'll even admit that on a standard TV CBS looks like it's 10 years older than Fox.

Neal Cotts
Ozzie must like the other team to get a lead off walk whenever he puts in Marte. But yeah Cotts needs to be pitching more often.

Cleveland Brown “Franchise” History
Actually if I remember right, when the Ravens moved, they still had the Cleveland Browns history, but when the browns got a new expansion team, the city of Cleveland wanted the Browns history back and got it back. The players aren't the same but they have all of the history of the old Cleveland Browns.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Oct 9, 2005 -> 04:47 PM) He's sung the 7th inning stretch a few times at wrigley, he's a bandwagoner. Yeah I've heard about him at Wrigley so I was just assuming he was.
