  1. I don't mind seeing the Sox under the radar one bit.
  2. They should have a brawl just to make us fans happy, lol.
  3. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Feb 11, 2005 -> 10:02 PM) I love how you threw blocks in there, like Jordan is supposed to have more than Malone, maybe you should try FT% or 3pt%. Who won the NBA Championship that year? Oh ya, and who missed the free throws at the end of game one in the finals that year- Malone and who had the game winning shot- Jordan. Actually I just pasted all of that in since those are the big 5 stats. Anyways that's postseason and the MVP is regular season. I'm surprised Malone had more assists than Jordan considering Stockton was on the team and Malone didn't get the ball every time down the court.
  4. 96-97 Stats Pts Rebs Asts Stls Blks Jordan 29.6 5.90 4.3 1.71 .54 Malone 27.4 9.90 4.5 1.38 .59
  5. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Feb 11, 2005 -> 09:49 PM) Good point, I never looked at it that way before. Good comeback
  6. and also it's not his fault he was selected as the MVP.
  7. lol Barkley wasn't even 6'6". Plus I hate to break it to Jordan lovers, but Malone did have a better season than Jordan that year.
  8. Wow, just because he was MVP and Jordan wasn't has to do with why you don't like him. I think Jordan has enough stuff, he can share the wealth a bit.
  9. I always love brawls, especially with the Twins. I like wathin baseball and I'm in the Twins viewing area but 2 years ago they were in brawls with the Sox, Royals, Tigers, Indians, Devil Rays, and I believe the Brewers. Even though most are/were divison rivals, a lot of the teams don't really like the players.
  10. Possibly the greatest power forward in history. I do think he didn't join the Spurs because people would think he was just freeloading for a ring. That might have been the case, but in my opinion, the press makes too much of whether someone won a ring or not. Stockton and Malone didn't win a ring, but I have no doubt they were the toughest one/two punch the game has seen for a long time.
  11. I'd the Mark too, plus he's a lefty and I like lefties.

    Whoops...

Weird story, I can see it happening though.
  13. I don't think Shingo will be as good as he was in the middle of the season. But he'll still be pretty good this year. There are still going to be a lot of players that haven't seen him play yet, or can't figure him out.
  14. I'm going to miss Reggie, while he wasn't one of the greatest players in history, he will be a Hall of Famer.
  15. QUOTE(Heather Lee @ Feb 11, 2005 -> 12:19 AM) One of the best players never to win a title, much like Stockton. They are 2 players that deserve a ring and it's sad niether of them won it. I would include Malone in it too, but it seems like he's jumping on a team just to win it, and that's what he's doing.
  16. Cliff Floyd has seemed to fall of the face of the earth. At least baseball wise, I never hear about him anymore.
  17. They shoulda gotten rid of Minnesota and Montreal a few years back. There is no Montreal anymore, even though they are now Washington, but I hate the Twins and still am mad they weren't contracted.
  18. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Feb 10, 2005 -> 09:53 PM) Watch ISU beat Iowa in Ames next year in football. It's certainly not impossible like most say. Anyone can win that game. Doesn't matter what the records are.
  19. Doesn't surprise me one bit. As much as I always wonder about the trade rumors going around, at least he stays active. I do believe he's trying to make a championship team here.
  20. lol Pierce was on the front page of my local newspaper.
