Small payrolls can work for a year (except if you're the Twins) but then the next year it seems that you're not in the playoffs. Higher payrolls always have a shot at being in the playoffs.

If there was a chance for that trade to happen, I'd be all over it in a heartbeat.

I'll be watching Figgins, Vlad, Beltran, and rooting for Robin Ventura since I never get to see those guys play.
