  1. Even the people that want Maggs to comeback have mostly accepted he won't be with the Sox again.
  2. I do agree with most of what he said.
  3. Larkin is also too injury prone to really have on this team.
  4. Jets Eagles Jaguars Falcons Bills Redskins Bengals Patriots Packers Titans Broncos Steelers Vikings Rams
  5. Yeah, Frank should get in even if he doesn't reach the 500 home run mark, but if he does, then he's a lock for sure.
  6. Heck I'd be happy at an 80 million salary.
  7. I am glad about the Yankees winning. I guess they don't bother me that much even though they buy their talent for the most part.
  8. I haven't been on the board for a few days, just heard about Robin and I just want to say that he's my favorite Sox of all time.
  9. That's the best race I've seen in a while. I like Derrike Cope and he doesn't race a whole lot anymore. I also like Tony Stewart fan so I was kinda mad no one went with him to try to pass Junior with a few laps to go but that's racing.
  10. lol wow Jerry Manual managing the Mets would give me a good laugh.
  11. He's not cut to be a starter anyways. I honestly totally forgot about him.
  12. Yeah true, but doing that he'll basically will have on shot at getting into the playoffs anytime soon, unless the Orioles get some good pitching. Maggs will go for the money though.
  13. Small payrolls can work for a year (except if you're the Twins) but then the next year it seems that you're not in the playoffs. Higher payrolls always have a shot at being in the playoffs.
  14. If there was a chance for that trade to happen, I'd be all over it in a heartbeat.
  15. I'll be watching Figgins, Vlad, Beltran, and rooting for Robin Ventura since I never get to see those guys play.
  16. Personally if I was him I wouldln't even consider Baltimore. But a lot of the decision is about money and if he gets more there, I guess there's a good shot he'll go there.
  17. Time to bring out the countdown to next season
  18. ALDS Boston over Anaheim in 4 New York over Minnesota in 4 NLDS St. Louis over Los Angeles in 4 Atlanta over Houston in 5 ALCS Boston over New York in 7 NLCS Atlanta over St. Louis in 6 World Series Boston over Atlanta in 5
  19. Yeah every team does have can't miss prospects and every team has pleasent surprises. I'd say Mark B is a pleasant surprise.
  20. Do you think he'll get more work being a garbage guy? Even if that's true, he better not be a starter next year.
  21. Right in the middle again. We're just an average team. Hopefully next year will be better.
  22. I agree with that too. I did almost cry when Maggs went down.
  23. Yeah that was awesome. Way to go Houston and way to help make sure the Cubs don't get in the playoffs. Who would have thought Houston would be in the Wild Card winners in early August.
  24. Good job to the Chicago White Sox. Way to finsish over .500 again. Hopefully we can pull a 2000 next year and win the division.
  25. I'd prefere him in AAA, I don't think he's consistant enough yet.
