Interesting that the 4th of July is more of a family type, cook out, laid back kind of celebration. Shouldn't that be our huge drunk fest? Instead, St. Patty's and Cinco de Mayo are.

If you get there early and are willing to walk a few block to the red line, you'll find a lot of free parking. It surprises me more people don't do it.

Ozzie gets a lot of criticism around here for his line up shuffles and for putting the 'wrong' hitters in certain situations. I'm a firm believer in what he does. If you show confidence in players, more often then not they will rise to the ocassion. I'm not gonna pile on, but I've never been a fan of Uribe's offense. Pull up my old posts or ask the guys who would chat during games last year. He rarely seems to have a plan at the plate or even understand the game situation or what is required of him at any particular time. His swing is the same just about every time and nothing about it suggests that he is trying to do anything besides hit the ball as hard as he can hopefully within play and not right at someone. I've always been amazed that hits above .200.

I don't understand booing former players in most cases. Did anyone catch Jimmy's post game comments when asked about it? He said it 'brought him some closure'. Translation: f*** this town, it's ON. Look for him to light up the tribe the rest of this year.

I'm not excusing them booing Jimmy, but I don't understand the booing of former players at all...and it happens everywhere.
