Sox at Playboy mansion today?

Anything? Anywhere? -
Tip: if you walk into a bathroom and see another guy standing at a urinal, don't ask 'hey, what's up?

QUOTE(sti3 @ Apr 27, 2006 -> 12:39 PM) Going out on a school night? What am I, a waiter? Seriously though, no. I only go out on Sunday if I have Monday off or if it's something SUPER special. I don't even know who Scott Lucas is, sorry. Please gather all your belongings and leave this instant, thank you.

I might have the record for starting the most threads that end being edited or closed. -
QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Apr 27, 2006 -> 12:14 PM) Scott Lucas after DJ'ing for 5 hours on Sunday: "And here's another ditty by our feature band on Sunday nights, Local H" That would be hilarious,

QUOTE(sti3 @ Apr 27, 2006 -> 11:12 AM) If you're in Chicago and old enough Smart Bar has a ton of minimal events. Lots of Kompakt artists rolling through. One CD you can probably get used for $5 which I think is an underrated gem is Miss Kittin's Radio Caroline mix. Do you ever go to Smart Bar on Sunday nights? What kind of stuff is Scott Lucas spinnin' lately?

You can't go wrong with BTS.

QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Apr 27, 2006 -> 10:27 AM) Great timing. This conjoined protest happens to fall on the one occasion I'm obligated to drive downtown. This is going to be brutal. Last protest rally Harrison and Halsted were virtually deadlocked. Traffic is already tight with the Dan Ryan reconstruction--this can't possibly help. I'm seriously consider leaving my house four hours before my finals begin. Afterwards, I have to attend a work-related clinic. I'll leave school two hours before this is scheduled as well. Drive nearby, then get on the train.

QUOTE(Texsox @ Apr 27, 2006 -> 09:21 AM) I have to agree with Evil on this one. The key being permission. I would also hope that most employers count this as a vacation day, personal day, sick day, etc. But give them the time off, where possible, and following accepted company rules. How about a national take the job of an illegal day? Have documented, legal workers that could be picking fruit, mowing lawns, busing tables, apply for those jobs and show the employers that there are millions of workers available, ready and willing to work. Because as Americans we are owed better work. Seriously, a lot of Americans are too proud or just flat out too lazy.

QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Apr 27, 2006 -> 09:35 AM) Wolfmother are friggin' great! What a killer band! I've never heard Alkaline Trio. I think Critic may have sent them to me, but I always thought that they were Emo/Modern Pop Punk. No? You're not missing much much KG. It's not your flavor.

OK, we need to use any and all resources to get the story and pics.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 27, 2006 -> 09:10 AM) Exactly. Many companies are giving people the day off to go down to the protests rather than fight with them or wait for a walkout. More than wading into another immigration arguement thread, I wanted to make sure everyone had the heads up about this going on and avoided downtown Chicago at all costs. The last protests had about 100,000 people or so, and shutdown most of the loop. This time they are trying to get 5 times that many people down here... It will be ugly. I won't be able to avoid downtown that day, I work here. During the last protest, some businesses, mostly restaurants and fast food places had signs on their doors stating that they'd be closing early so that their employees could join the rally. I agree, we've beaten the issue to death.

QUOTE(EvilMonkey @ Apr 27, 2006 -> 09:03 AM) And if workers take off to 'protest' without getting permission from their employers first, I hope they all get fired, fined, reprimanded, suspended, whatever. Doubtful, you don't get rid of cheap labor. You think the employers aren't in on the deal? Ha.

QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 26, 2006 -> 10:42 PM) He always looks hurt when he runs. It's what happens when you have concrete spikes. No no, it was different this time. He looked like he had a limp/'giddy up' to it.

Is Paulie running OK? Looked kinda funny getting from 2nd to 3rd and then again from 3rd to home.

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Apr 26, 2006 -> 11:33 AM) Isn't it weird how you can get way too much sleep and still feel tired, yet you could get 4 hours of sleep and feel energetic? It's all about what you get your body trained to do, I guess.

I said we'd win big yesterday and queak by today. I'm sticking to it.

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Apr 26, 2006 -> 02:38 PM) Good thing you like message boards cause in a few years you aren't going to be able to have a conversation with anyone. A lot of headphones play really loud. The problem most of them distort the sounds before they get up to max volume. I've never found any that are both really loud and really clear.

Where will BAs average be at the end of the year?
LosMediasBlancas replied to greasywheels121's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Those ranges are too broad. I bet 80% of the votes go to .240-.260 range. -
Does anyone know if you can purchase headphones that allow you to control the volume on each side independently? Does such a thing exist??
