I used to think it had to do with economics. You need very little equipment to shoot hoops and lots of equipment and rink time to play hockey. That doesn't explain why so many African American kids play football and not baseball though. I'm not sure why the numbers have fallen off the way they have in baseball.

You know it's almost to the point where people take the White Sox winning for granted. This team is playing pretty well right now and should get even better if/once BA and Pods get cruising.

You can get a few different hoodies at the main gift shop at the Cell. I'm looking for one too. They all say 'White Sox' across the chest, the problem is that the W and the X get cut off under your arms when you have it on. That's why I didn't buy any of the ones I saw there.

I'm always amazed at 'hard partying, drunk' athletes. I have a hard time doing a desk job when I'm hungover. These guys will show up ready for practice or to play a full contact sport at the professional level....and most perform well ! It's not awe inspiring, but it is amazing to me.
