I wouldnt want to be making decicions on the OF. They all doing well. Baldwin mystery elbow injury. Havent seen enough of Pereira. Last couple days saw Peters rob a HR and Hill make an incredible catch in RF and have hit all spring. He looks like the best hitter on the team and the best fielding outfielder. Acuna has been on a tear too from the minute he arrived. Hill and Acuna bring loads of speed too. Kelenic not overly impressive. He needed to hit like Acuna, Hill, Wade, Korey Lee or Oliver Dunn, another guy who just did everything he could to making a lasting impression The Sox have 8 guys who have played between 10-15 games with an OPS of 1.000+ and another 5 with an OPS in the .900's. I know its ST and you face a lot young pitchers but the offense has really stood out.

He had know he'd be a lame duck GM with the bare minimum for the players but also knew he have plenty to spend on infrastucture since those things are a pittance yearly compared to even one contract like Benitendi's annual salary. They cant just cut him and eat the salary. Even if they can save $5M on his salary they'll keep him and play him to extract that savings. Thats just the way it is now.

Im prepaid Android ATT if I use my Verizon Wifi .Soxtalk wont work. Once I turned the Wifi off it worked. I had previoysly cleared the cache but still couldnt get it. Even now itll still flash the cant reach the website before it connects to it . I might need a new phone from Verizon so I can have my phone and internet on the same network and see what Verizon will offer me.

Hill had a true Superman diving catch in RF . Ran a long way full speed, dove full speed, caught it head first full layout , slid on the grass 10-15 feet into foul territory.

No one can say for sure how much power Getz had in that position. To automatically assign him blame is just getting angry because he convinced JR by being cheap and inexperienced that he wanted the job. You'd think you'd be able to see how different things are now but if all you can see is the losses and Getz had a key position under a malfunctioning front office then that's all you're going to see until the record gets respectable. It's already trending that way but they started a lot lower that 2024 season. . They had to wait until 2025 to really get some of the young guys in the lineup. I wonder if Houston fans were this blind. During the Sox 1st rebuild everyone was gung ho even though they left the same guys in charge who screwed it up in the 1st place.

You'd think it wasn't a rebuild by the way everyone is concerned about the losses. The problem with the last rebuild is they didnt lose enough and never got top picks unless you count Madrigal and Vaughn. They also had less veteran guys to sell off because they dropped so precipitously that no one was worth anything. Anderson, Moncada, Kopech, Eloy, Giolito all went downhill in a short period of time. JR was spending a lot more per season then even during the rebuild so Hahn would spend it on Melky Cabrera and others so they lost 100 once. Also there was no draft lottery but the Sox got the #1 pick this year but have had much better drafts although its still kind of early to say for sure. But even after playing 20 rookies last year they still had 5 guys in the top 100 and a couple more just outside it and also Antonacci who sprang up pretty fast. The Astros lost 106, 107 & 111 from 2011-2013 then 92 in 2014. After that they started making the playoffs regularly. They drafted very well and unlike the Sox they didn't have to rebuild their international connections. Starting in 2017 they made the playoffs 8 straight years and were constantly in the ALCS and won 2 World Series

Korey Lee has had some good ABs this spring. Hasnt struck much either.

Colson & Hayes have the HR lead now with their 3rd HR of the spring . They were tied with 4 others. Antonacci also has 3 but 1 was in the WBC.

Didnt mean to sound overly harsh. Just stated the facts as I see them. I take every bold prediction they way they were meant to be taken. I give bold takes year round . I have high hopes for lots of guys . I could include 15 guys or more in bold predictions or say the Sox will be above . 500 and it wouldnt be far from what I actually think.
