  1. Before he striuck Naylor out , Naylor seemed to be playing head games with Alberto. Iriarte in to get the Mariners close again.
  2. Brooksy 3rd hit gets Hill to 3rd after he walked w/ 1 out. Wade GB Brooks doesnt slide and gets hit by the throw from Emerson. Hill scores. 7-5 . Tanner Murray RBI double to LCF gap scores Wade. 8-5 Mead GO weakly to 2nd.
  3. Good stuff, got 3 K that inning but command not there. He'll likely stay all spring just to see what they can accomplish with him.
  4. Mainers leadoff walk, Colt Emerson single. K , then Cal Raleigh K on a change up. Julio Rod. on 1-2 breaking ball up goes oppo to RF corner to score 2 .6-5. Naylor K.
  5. Alberto pitching for Sox for bottom of 4th.
  6. Baldwin LH RBI double after a gift triple by Derek Hill . Julio Rodriquez didnt play it that well then Hill was rounding second slowly when Arozarena couldnt pick up the ball . Mead singles in Baldwin from 2nd and takes 2nd on the throw home. Quero singles in Mead. 6 -3. WP gets EQ to 2nd. Hays walks. Mariners getting a new pitcher.
  7. Mead picked off while dancing at 1st base.
  8. Tanner Murray greets the new pitcher with a 2 run HR after a bloop single by BRooks Baldwin.
  9. Antonacci 4 pitch walk. Kirby was throwing a lot of strikes before and after Antonacci .Hmm 🤔Derek Hill blown away but 24 pitch inning for Kirby.
  10. Sosa 2 out RBI double !
  11. I'll take only winning televised games if it extends into the regular season .
  12. Now you understand. Maybe choose your words more carefully next time you say it'll take almost everything going right to win 75-81 games.
  13. Especially since I just got done telling him Venable gave him a big vote of confidence at Soxfest.
  14. When you hyperolize a below .500 record happening when " almost everything goes right" you cant win that argument. Almost everything going right means almost everyone with good health and almost everyone being spectacular including almost all our top prospects . To me that means 100+ wins and " almost everything going" right in the playoffs which means a World Series win. Hell lets take " almost everything going right" to its logical conclusion 161-1 and undefeated in the playoffs since 1 loss is " almost everything" going right. 😁
  15. Disagree on " almost everything " going right to for that win total. I'd more likely say reasonable forward progression with non devastating injuries to their 2 biggest power bats.
  16. Okamoto just hit a 431ft bomb to CF for the Blue Jays vs the Mets. No Robert Jr. in the starting lineup for the Mets.
  17. You could say that about most any young player with only one good half worth of hitting. No one is making any promises. People just like what they see. Venable picked him as someone to keep our eyes on at Soxfest. He's got a potential impactful bat. MLB Network said Colson Montgomery was the 88th best player in MLB . Bold call based on limited track record.
  18. Red Sox on the prowl for depth LH relief pitching 👀 Another Sox on Sox trade coming ? Red Sox could wait to see who shows up on waivers.
  19. Aww shucks I was getting used to watching victories.😭
  20. Quero on his very good day.
  21. Big Kev talking about the 3-0 start is basically how I feel about it. If it puts a smile on your face it or puts a spring in your step it means something.
  22. McDougal was sick with the slider that inning. Winner winner enjoy your dinner !
