  1. Well I'm in California and I manage and I don't have the MLB package but not sure if the MLB package stays with the broadcast long enough for post game show. If I get the CHSN broadcast like I did tonight I'll see post game.
  2. Pretty sure during the broadcast they put up a graphic that said Jones was called up. Schriffren said something like it might be a name people aren't familiar with and talked about his speed, defense and power.
  3. Preaching to the choir brother. He's clutching the purse strings. Hell never put the cart before the horse. He won't spend unless he's got the revenue. He won't spend to create revenue.
  4. Post game show ? I thought I heard Venable talking about Lee's left ankle but I wasn't really paying too much attention. Tweets ? Some do have post game access.
  5. The starting pitching so far has not been the problem and the defense has been surprisingly good. You just can't win many games averaging 3 runs a game.
  6. The starting pitching so far has been really good. So has the defense. But no hitting and bullpen woes plus injuries have to young arms and old veteran position players and Korey Lee might combine to get Quero up here and some of the younger relief pitchers. They'd have to do a lot of DFAs though so I don't know if they're just biting the bullet to save service time on as many players as possible. One things for sure, no one is going to be rushed unless injuries start forcing the issue.
  7. I have no idea what's going on. Grown men hold a lot of responsibility for their own health . Combination of cold weather and previous soft tissue injury, age and lack of pinch runner and trying too hard. I don't know if it's bad luck or just players grow up softer these days. There's no way to know and I can't blame people I have no knowledge about what they are advising or if the players listen. Obviously s%*# just happens too. Nothing is 100 % preventable. We could try to figure it out for a lifetime and never know. I don't look for people to blame with injuries. Maybe something somewhere might've made a difference in preparation or healing process but people get hurt exerting themselves even those with better doctors than the rest of us.
  8. Ha They called him up but I didn't know if he was there yet.
  9. Jones running for him I can agree with since he was the tying run and both play the OF. Was he in the dugout ?
  10. Great ,the smarm has now invaded Future Sox which is supposed to be a safe haven from the Pale Hose Talk wretchedness. Not just content to make PHT a s%*# show you bring it in here.
  11. Are you kidding me ? It's obviously Katz and Bannister's fault . This is sarcasm. Around here stuff like this is taken as fact.
  12. He got a decent jump, problem was he thought it might be caught so he stopped took a step back towards 2nd then saw it drop. It wasn't great base running he could've been 15 ft down the line towards 3rd and still not been doubled off 2nd if it was caught. He just misread the trajectory of the hit by Maton or got deked by the OFer. A lot of guys with his speed would've scored easily even as hard as that was hit. It wasn't directly at the fielder. It almost got by him .
  13. A 5th starter is too optimistic for Fathom 😋
  14. Good one ! Although I was aware of the date I thought no way they go with 2 LH catchers and keep Thaiss over Lee.
  15. Things will shift again when Tauchman comes back. Maybe just be Jankowski to AAA though unless he rather be released or they send Maton down.
  16. Wow game over already. Waiting for the game to start took a nap and it was in the 9th inning already lol.
  17. It could be any number of things besides Taylor's arm . Both are plus defenders so it's not a very discernable difference .Then you got Jankowski known to be liked by Venable and people assume it's favoritism without any actual knowledge. It's talk radio Twitter meatball garbage jumping to conclusions. It could be as simple as keeping guys on their toes playing positions they are capable of playing well in case they are needed to replace an injured guy so it won't be the 1dt time in a few months that you played the position. That's why good utility guys like Baldwin, who can play all over are valuable. After Tauchman comes back Taylor I'm sure will be playing late inning defense all over the OF .
  18. Easy there Tiger. 1st really bad outing by the pen and you're all over Getz BP too. It's still pretty much a 100 + loss team and even 2 more decent bats would probably get the Sox close to under 100 losses. Of course will lose Robert so going to need more. You can't work miracles with low budget ballplayers .Lucky we ended up with Smith another Getz acquisition.
  19. Vargas got a little hitch in his swing. Stands very still and pulls the bat back to start his swing.
