I guess all those worried last year about his power can rest easy. He's only hitting .524 with an OPS of 1.773

It's a little harder to hit Homers in KC but I'm pretty sure they were at the top of the AL in HR's coming in and they have continued to mash the ball here.

Does everyone in the Mariners lineup have a .900+ OPs ?

After that blown strike call he swung at everything. Only way you come back is to get on base but the ump says I want to go home , you are not coming back so screw you looking at pitches and trying to get on base.

So Engel homers and Abreu drives in a run with a double for anyone interested in the game in the game thread.

You can't always get what you want, He's been hitting like a middle of the order hitter so that's where he is. With this Mariners team hitting like the 27 Yankees we need th middle of the order to produce and get some opportunities to drive in runs.

DId you just ask a question and answer it too ? You go up there and hit regardless of your place in the lineup.

So stop breathing . Exciuse me for actually waiting for a guy to give up a hit before I jump down his throat.- Sox and Mariners Game #2
DOH ! Covey could've done that- Sox and Mariners Game #2
You did it after his 1st walk maybe 2nd I don't remember and at that point he hadn't yet given up a hit. SO what exactly was supposed to be obvious to me that was obvious to you and everyone else that you are now speaking for ?- Sox and Mariners Game #2
How can you ascertain he overthinks things ?- Sox and Mariners Game #2
Yes as you said he's made many changes and repetition is a key and that is not an easy thing and has nothing to do with his thought processes.- Sox and Mariners Game #2
Hey I can be critical too. Look ! Sox suck Giolito sucks, The Sox can never come back this game but I choose not to. It's still early in the game and I still have hope for Giolito and the Sox. SO sue me for enjoying baseball and my favorite team.- Sox and Mariners Game #2
Good analysis. A lot better than calling him a head case.- Sox and Mariners Game #2
If it's about being right or wrong then yes you win. If it's about being patient and not being a dick you lose.- Sox and Mariners Game #2
For the time being he is a failed prospect. Last week he wasn't. He hasn't even turned 25 yet.- Sox and Mariners Game #2
I think 75% of what you post is critical and that's being generous.- Sox and Mariners Game #2
He's definitely a work in progress . Time will tell .- Sox and Mariners Game #2
I just think some people aren't happy unless they are being critical. Who know who you are.- Sox and Mariners Game #2
I hate Haniger which mean I wish we had him. - Sox and Mariners Game #2
